Description: IL-13 is an immunoregulatory cytokine produced primarily by activated Th2 cells, and also by mast cells and NK cells. Targeted deletion of IL-13 in mice resulted in impaired Th2 cell development and indicated an important role for IL-13 in the expulsion of gastrointestinal parasites. IL-13 exerts anti-inflammatory effects on monocytes and macrophages and it inhibits the expression of inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β, TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-8. IL-13 has also been shown to enhance B cell proliferation and to induce isotype switching, resulting in increased production of IgE. Blocking of IL-13 activity inhibits the pathophysiology of asthma. Human and murine IL-13 are cross-species reactive. Recombinant Human IL-13 is a 12.6 kDa protein consisting of 115 amino acid residues.

Description: IFN-ω is a type I interferon that can be induced by virus-infected leukocytes. Members of the type I interferon family, which includes IFN-α, IFN-β, and IFN-ω, signal through the IFNAR-1/IFNAR-2 receptor complex, and exert antiviral and antiproliferative activities. IFN-ω exhibits about 75% sequence homology with IFN-α, and contains two conserved disulfide bonds that are necessary for full biological activity. Recombinant Human IFN-ω is a 19.9 kDa protein consisting of 172 amino acid residues.

Supplier: Peprotech
Description: TWEAK belongs to the TNF family of ligands, and signals through TWEAKR, also known as TNFRSF12A. TWEAK is expressed in a variety of tissues, including the adult heart, pancreas, skeletal muscle, small intestine, spleen and peripheral blood lymphocytes. TWEAK has the ability to induce NF-κB activation and chemokine secretion, and to exert an apoptotic activity in certain cells, such as HT-29 human adenocarcinoma cells when cultured in the presence of IFN-γ. TWEAK also promotes proliferation and migration of endothelial cells. The human TWEAK gene encodes for a 249 amino acid type II transmembrane protein, which contains a 21 amino acid cytoplasmic domain, a 21 amino acid transmembrane domain, and a 207 amino acid extracellular domain. Recombinant Human TWEAK is a soluble 17.0 kDa polypeptide (154 amino acid residues) comprising the TNF-homologous region of TWEAK, and is generated by proteolytic processing of the full length membrane-anchored TWEAK protein.Manufactured using all Animal-Free reagents.

Description: Fas Ligand (FasL) is a member of the TNF superfamily that is expressed on the cell surface of activated T cells. Binding of FasL to Fas Receptor triggers apoptosis in Fas-bearing cells. FasL has the ability to kill T cells and activated B cells, which leads to down-regulation of the immune response. The mechanism of Fas-induced apoptosis involves recruitment of pro-caspase 8 through an adaptor molecule called FADD, followed by processing of the pro-enzyme into active forms. These active caspases then cleave various cellular substrates, leading to the eventual cell death. Both human and murine sFasL are fully active on human and murine cells. Recombinant Human sFas Ligand is a 17.9 kDa protein comprising the TNF-homologous region of FasL and contains an 8-residue N-terminal His-Tag.

Supplier: Peprotech
Description: Lymphotactin is the only known member of the C chemokine family, and signals through the receptor XCR1, formally known as GPR5. The spleen shows the highest level of lymphotactin compared to peripheral leukocytes, lung, colon and small intestine. Lymphotactin is chemotactic towards lymphocytes, but not towards monocytes or neutrophils. Recombinant Human Lymphotactin (XCL1) is a 10.0 kDa protein consisting of 92 amino acid residues.

Supplier: Peprotech
Description: IL-2 is a powerful immunoregulatory lymphokine produced by T-cells in response to antigenic or mitogenic stimulation.  IL-2/IL-2R signaling is required for T-cell proliferation and other fundamental functions that are essential for the immune response.  IL-2 stimulates growth and differentiation of B-cells, NK cells, lymphokine-activated killer cells, monocytes, macrophages and oligodendrocytes.  Recombinant Human IL-2 is a 15.5 kDa protein, containing 134 amino acid residues including one intrachain disulfide bond. Manufactured using all Animal-Free reagents.
