Catalog Number: (10797-870)
Supplier: Prosci
Description: Tyrosine-protein kinase transmembrane receptor ROR1 is also known as Neurotrophic tyrosine kinase, receptor-related 1 (NTRKR1), which belongs to the protein kinase superfamily or tyr protein kinase family or ROR subfamily. ROR1 contains 1 FZ (frizzled) domain, 1 Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domain, 1 kringle domain, 1 protein kinase domain. ROR1 is expressed at high levels during early embryonic development. The expression levels drop strongly around day 16 and there are only very low levels in adult tissues. Isoform Short is strongly expressed in fetal and adult CNS and in a variety of human cancers, including those originating from CNS or PNS neuroectoderm. ROR1 could interact with casein kinase 1 epsilon (CK1?) to activate phosphoinositide 3-kinase-mediated AKT phosphorylation and cAMP-response-element-binding protein (CREB), which was associated with enhanced tumor-cell growth.

Catalog Number: (10472-416)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Required for the polarization of forebrain neurons which endows axons and dendrites with distinct properties, possibly by locally regulating phosphorylation of microtubule-associated proteins (By similarity). May be involved in the regulation of G2/M arrest in response to UV- or methyl methane sulfonate (MMS)-induced, but not IR-induced, DNA damage. Phosphorylates WEE1 and CDC25B in vitro and CDC25C in vitro and in vivo.Tissue specificity: Widely expressed, with highest levels in brain and testis. Protein levels remain constant throughout the cell cycle.

Catalog Number: (89359-974)
Supplier: Genetex
Description: All five immunoglobulin classes share the same basic four polypeptide chain structure of two heavy-chains and two light chains. There are five heavy chain types, and two light-chain types (Kappa and Lambda) both having a molecular weight of 22.5kDa. Any heavy-chain type can associate with either light-chain type, but on any immunoglobulin molecule both light-chains are of the same type. Kappa and Lambda consist of a variable region and a constant region and can easily be differentiated by the antigenic properties of the constant region. The ratio of Kappa to Lambda is 70:30 , the vast majority of which is bound to heavy-chain in immunoglobulin. In normal individuals low levels of free light-chain arepresent in serum (kappa, 1.6-15.2 mg/L; Lambda, 0.4-4.2mg/L), with the occurrence of multiple myeloma or other B-cell malignancies these levels can be greatly elevated and can be found at high levels in the urine (Bence-Jones proteins).

Supplier: Electron Microscopy Sciences
Description: Unique orbital specimen holder for a spin and raise SEM images to a whole new level.

Catalog Number: (75789-442)
Supplier: Prosci
Description: Adipocyte Adhesion Molecule (ASAM) is a type I transmembrane protein and member of the CTX family within the immunoglobulin superfamily. ASAM may be involved in the cell-cell adhesion, play an important role in adipocyte differentiation and development of obesity. ASAM can be expressed in the skeletal, heart, colon, spleen, muscle, lung and kidney with high level, and in the peripheral blood leukocytes and liver with low level. The extracellular region of ASAM consists two potential N-linked glycosylation sites, and two immunoglobulin domains, one V-type and one C2-type.

Catalog Number: (10108-576)
Supplier: Prosci
Description: Dihydropyrimidinase catalyzes the conversion of 5,6-dihydrouracil to 3-ureidopropionate in pyrimidine metabolism. Dihydropyrimidinase is expressed at a high level in liver and kidney as a major 2.5-kb transcript and a minor 3.8-kb transcript. Defects in the DPYS gene are linked to dihydropyrimidinuria.Dihydropyrimidinase catalyzes the conversion of 5,6-dihydrouracil to 3-ureidopropionate in pyrimidine metabolism. Catalog Number: (103389-286)
Supplier: Eagle Biosciences
Description: Human Myeloperoxidase (MPO) ELISA is to detect human MPO levels in serum and EDTA-plasma samples.

Supplier: Adipogen
Description: Roscovitine-related purine with no activity on CDKs (used as control for roscovitine). Selectively and potently increases production of extracellular Abeta42 and decreases production of extracellular Abeta38 in cultured cells. Extracellular Abeta40 levels remain stable. Intracellular levels of these amyloids appear to remain stable. Alzheimer's Disease (AD) accelerator that interacts with VDAC1, prohibitin and mitofilin, possibly interfering with subcellular compartmentalization and lipid rafts properties, shifting gamma-secretase activity toward Abeta42 generation. Induces a reversible mitochondrial phenotype reminiscent of the one observed in AD brains. Tool to detect inhibitors of Aftin-induced actions (potential anti-AD compounds).
