Supplier: TCI America
Description: N-Succinimidyl Tetradecanoate, Purity/Analysis Method: >95.0%(HPLC)(N), CAS Number: 69888-86-4, Molecular formula: C18H31NO4, Molecular weight: 325.45, Synonym: Myristic Acid N-Succinimidyl Ester, NHS-Myristate, N-Succinimidyl Myristate, Size: 5G

Catalog Number: (CAPI20593)
Supplier: Thermo Scientific
Description: Thermo Scientific Pierce DSG is a water-insoluble, homo-bifunctional N-hydroxysuccinimide ester (NHS-ester) crosslinker often used for conjugating radiolabeled ligands to cell-surface receptors. The NHS ester is the simplest and most commonly used reactive group for crosslinking and labeling proteins and peptides. NHS esters react with primary amines on the N-termini of peptides and the  amine of lysine residues, forming a stable, covalent amide bond and releasing the NHS group.

Supplier: Anaspec Inc
Description: Tetramethylrhodamine (TMR) is one of the fluorophores most often used for preparing peptide, protein, nucleotide and nucleic acid conjugates, especially fluorescent antibodies and avidin derivatives used in immunochemistry. TMR dyes have been widely used as acceptors for FAM fluorophores in a variety of FRET studies. The succinimidyl esters of 5-TAMRA, 6-TAMRA or the mixed isomers are the primary labeling reagents.

Supplier: Thermo Scientific
Description: The amine group is the most common target for modifying protein molecules because it is abundant in the majority of proteins either due to the presence of lysine bearing amino side chain functionality or the N-terminal-amine. Amine-reactive biotinylation reagents can be divided into two groups based on water solubility: NHS-esters and sulfo-NHS-esters.
Catalog Number: (CAPI21335)
Supplier: Thermo Scientific
Description: Thermo Scientific EZ-Link Sulfo-NHS-LC-Biotin is an intermediate-length, water-soluble biotinylation reagent for labeling antibodies, proteins and other molecules that have primary amines.

Catalog Number: (103010-794)
Supplier: Anaspec Inc
Description: 6-HEX, SE is a popular amino-reactive fluorescent probe that is widely used in nucleic acid sequencing and related research.

Supplier: Anaspec Inc
Description: 5-FAM, SE is a single isomer. It is one of the most popular green fluorescent reagents used for labeling peptides, proteins and nucleotides. It has also been used to prepare various small fluorescent molecules.

Supplier: Anaspec Inc
Description: Although FITC reagents have been more often used to prepare fluoresceinated bioconjugates, the low stability of FITC bioconjugates makes some researchers use amine-reactive succinimidyl esters of carboxyfluorescein (commonly called FAM) in bioconjugations. FAM reagents give carboxamides that are more resistant to hydrolysis. We have shown that FAM reagents require less stringent reaction conditions and give better conjugation yields, and the resulted conjugates have superior stability. We noted that FITC labeled peptides tend to deteriorate more quickly than the corresponding FAM conjugates.

Catalog Number: (CAPI22360)
Supplier: Thermo Scientific
Description: Thermo Scientific Pierce SMCC is a hetero-bifunctional crosslinker that contain N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) ester and maleimide groups that allow covalent conjugation of amine- and sulfhydryl-containing molecules. NHS esters react with primary amines at pH 7–9 to form amide bonds, while maleimides react with sulfhydryl groups at pH 6.5–7.5 to form stable thioether bonds. In aqueous solutions, NHS ester hydrolytic degradation is a competing reaction whose rate increases with pH. The maleimide group is more stable than the NHS-ester group, but will slowly hydrolyze and lose its reaction specificity for sulfhydryls at pH values > 7.5. For these reasons, conjugations with these crosslinkers are usually performed at pH 7.2–7.5, with the NHS ester (amine-targeted) reacted before or simultaneous with the maleimide (sulfhydryl-targeted) reaction.
