Description: This Antibody targets Human IgD (delta-Heavy Chain) in IHC (P) and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The immunogen is igD isolated from a pool of normal human sera. Thermo Scientific Pierce Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins and are useful in the detection, sorting or purification of its specified target. Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility enabling users to use many detection systems (e. g. HRP, AP, fluorescence). They can also provide greater sensitivity through signal amplification as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Most commonly, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with a pooled population of immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified and modified (i. e. immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation, etc. ) to generate highly specific reagents.

Supplier: Thermo Scientific
Description: Studies have shown that murine HSP90 exists as two forms, HSP84 and HSP86, coded by related but separate genes, with 86% amino acid sequence conservation. These forms are analogous to the two forms of human HSP90, HSP89 alpha and HSP89 beta. In an unstressed mouse fibroblast, the basal level of HSP84 is found to be double that of HSP86. However, after heat shock, HSP86 shows a greater increase. Studies also suggest that upon cellular differentiation, the level of HSP86, but not HSP84, decreases. HSP84 and HSP86, which may be subject to estrogenic regulation, have been found as components of the non-DNA binding form of mouse glucocorticoid receptor, but dissociated from the transformed DNA-binding form.

Description: This Antibody has been successfully used in ICC/IF applications with human and mouse samples. This intronless gene encodes a member of the SRY-related HMG-box (SOX) family of transcription factors involved in the regulation of embryonic development and in the determination of cell fate. The product of this gene is required for stem-cell maintenance in the central nervous system, and also regulates gene expression in the stomach. Mutations in this gene have been associated with optic nerve hypoplasia and with syndromic microphthalmia, a severe form of structural eye malformation. This gene lies within an intron of another gene called SOX2 overlapping transcript (SOX2OT).

Description: Retinoic acid plays a critical role in development, cellular growth, and differentiation. The specific function of the protein for this intronless, retinoic acid-induced gene has not yet been determined; however, it has been suggested to play a role in development.

Description: CA2 is one of several (at least 7) isozymes of carbonic anhydrase. Carbonic anhydrase catalyzes reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. Defects in this enzyme are associated with osteopetrosis and renal tubular acidosis.

Catalog Number: (CAPIPA5-18389)
Supplier: Thermo Scientific
Description: The protein encoded by this gene is a high affinity calcium ion-binding protein that is structurally and functionally similar to calmodulin and troponin C. The encoded protein is thought to be involved in muscle relaxation.

Catalog Number: (CAPIPA5-12893)
Supplier: Thermo Scientific
Description: This antibody is predicted to react with mouse based on sequence homology. Phosphoinositide 3-kinases (PI3Ks) phosphorylate the 3-prime OH position of the inositol ring of inositol lipids. See MIM 602838. The class I PI3Ks display a broad phosphoinositide lipid substrate specificity and include p110-alpha , p110-beta, and p110-gamma. p110-alpha and p110-beta interact with SH2/SH3-domain-containing p85 adaptor proteins and with GTP-bound Ras.

Description: This antibody is predicted to react with bovine, canine, human and mouse based on sequence homology. The neuropeptide galanin elicits a range of biological effects by interaction with specific G-protein-coupled receptors. Galanin receptors are seven-transmembrane proteins shown to activate a variety of intracellular second-messenger pathways. GALR1 inhibits adenylyl cyclase via a G protein of the Gi/Go family. GALR1 is widely expressed in the brain and spinal cord, as well as in peripheral sites such as the small intestine and heart.

Supplier: Thermo Scientific
Description: This antibody is predicted to react with porcine and rat based on sequence homology. This gene is a member of the NADfamily and encodes a cytoplasmic 2-electron reductase. This FAD-binding protein forms homodimers and reduces quinones to hydroquinones. This protein's enzymatic activity prevents the one electron reduction of quinones that results in the production of radical species. Mutations in this gene have been associated with tardive dyskinesia , an increased risk of hematotoxicity after exposure to benzene, and susceptibility to various forms of cancer. Altered expression of this protein has been seen in many tumors and is also associated with Alzheimer's disease . Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.

Description: ADAMTS19 is a member of the ADAMTS (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motif) protein family. Members of the family share several distinct protein modules, including a propeptide region, a metalloproteinase domain, a disintegrin-like domain, and a thrombospondin type 1 (TS) motif. Individual members of this family differ in the number of C-terminal TS motifs, and some have unique C-terminal domains.

Description: This antibody is predicted to react with canine based on sequence homology. Members of the BTB/POZ family of transcriptional regulators, including BTBD14B, contain a conserved motif in the N-terminal region critical for protein-protein interactions and assembly of high molecular mass complexes .

Description: This antibody is predicted to react with bovine, mouse and rat based on sequence homology. This gene encodes two proteins, the SART1protein expressed in the nucleus of the majority of proliferating cells, and the SART1protein expressed in the cytosol of epithelial cancers. The SART1protein is translated by the mechanism of -1 frameshifting during posttranscriptional regulation; its full-length sequence is not published yet. The two encoded proteins are thought to be involved in the regulation of proliferation. Both proteins have tumor-rejection antigens. The SART1protein possesses tumor epitopes capable of inducing HLA-A2402-restricted cytotoxic T lymphocytes in cancer patients. This SART1antigen may be useful in specific immunotherapy for cancer patients and may serve as a paradigmatic tool for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with atopy. The SART1protein is found to be essential for the recruitment of the tri-snRNP to the pre-spliceosome in the spliceosome assembly pathway.

Description: This antibody is predicted to react with canine based on sequence homology. Von Hippel-Lindau syndrome is a dominantly inherited familial cancer syndrome predisposing to a variety of malignant and benign tumors. A germline mutation of this gene is the basis of familial inheritance of VHL syndrome. The protein encoded by this gene is a component of the protein complex that includes elongin B, elongin C, and cullin-2, and possesses ubiquitin ligase E3 activity. This protein is involved in the ubiquitination and degradation of hypoxia-inducible-factor , which is a transcription factor that plays a central role in the regulation of gene expression by oxygen. RNA polymerase II subunit POLR2G/RPB7 is also reported to be a target of this protein. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been observed.
