Description: DSE, also named as SART2 and DSEPI, is an enzyme that converts D-glucuronic acid to L-iduronic acid residues in dermatan sulphate biosynthesis. It is also identified to be a tumour-associated antigen. DSE is recognized by cytotoxic T cells (CTLs) and its enhanced expression in many cancers has been reported. DSE is a potential candidate for a tumour antigen with immunogenicity.

Supplier: CHEMetrics
Description: Test method: The Peracetic Acid CHEMets® test kit (0 to 1 and 0 to 5 ppm) employs the DPD chemistry. The sample is treated with an excess of potassium iodide. Peracetic acid oxidizes the iodide to iodine. The iodine then oxidizes DPD (N,N-diethyl-p-phenylenediamine) to form a pink colored species in direct proportion to the peracetic acid concentration. Various oxidizing agents such as halogens, ferric ions and cupric ions will produce high test results. Hydrogen peroxide does not interfere with this test if present at levels comparable to the peracetic acid levels.

Catalog Number: (10094-506)
Supplier: Proteintech
Description: SGSH(N-sulphoglucosamine sulphohydrolase) is also named as HSS, sulphamidase and belongs to the sulfatase family. Sulfamidase is synthesized as a 62 kDa precursor protein, which is modified with mannose 6-phosphate (M6P) residues, allowing their recognition by mannose-6-phosphate receptors in the Golgi complex and ensuring transport to the endosomal/lysosomal system. It catalyzes the third step of degradation of glucosaminoglycans and is required for the degradation of heparan sulphate. Defects in SGSH are the cause of mucopolysaccharidosis type 3A (MPS3A), also known as Sanfilippo syndrome A.

Supplier: HiMedia
