Description: CKMT1A(Creatine kinase U-type, mitochondrial) is also named as CKMT,CKMT1B and belongs to the ATP:guanido phosphotransferase family. CKMT1A is a nearly identical copy of the CKMT1B gene. Both genes encode an identical CKMT1 protein. It reversibly catalyzes the transfer of phosphate between ATP and various phosphogens. It has 2 isoforms produced by alternative splicing with the molecular weight of 47 kDa and 50 kDa.

Description: HOXD13, also named as HOX4I, belongs to the Abd-B homeobox family. HOXD13 is a sequence-specific transcription factor which is part of a developmental regulatory system that provides cells with specific positional identities on the anterior-posterior axis. Mutation of HOXD13 will cause synpolydactyly (SPD), brachydactyly type D (BDD), syndactyly type 5brachydactyly-syndactyly syndrome (BDSD) or brachydactyly type E (BDE).Present polyclonal anti-HOX13D antibody(18736-1-AP) is produced by immunizing animals with part of N-terminus chain of HOX13D and detect a 36-kDa band in cell and tissues.

Description: Ribonuclease UK114, also named HRSP12, is found predominantly in human adult kidney and liver and is responsible for inhibiting translation by cleaving mRNA. UK114 is mostly expressed in cytoplasm, but occasionally in nucleus in less differentiated cells. UK114 cleaves phosphodiester bonds only in single-stranded RNA. The levels of both the mRNA and protein are markedly reduced in heptatocellular tumors and in human hepatoma cell lines compared with normal liver tissues, suggesting that ribonuclease UK114 may be an important biomarker for heptatic carcinoma. Current antibody catalog# 12930-1-AP is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised from human full-length UK114.

Description: The synaptosomal associated protein of 25 kD (SNAP-25) was first identified as a major synaptic protein by Wilson and colleagues. The protein interacts with syntaxin and synaptobrevin through its N-terminal and C-terminal -helical domains. Its palmitoylation domain is located in the middle of the molecule that contains four cysteine residues. Mutation of the cysteines abolishes palmitoylation and membrane binding. Several elegant studies using synaptosome preparations and permeabilized PC12 cells have suggested that SNAP-25 may act in the late post-docking steps of exocytosis. By limited proteolysis and in vitro binding assay, it is proposed that the two helix domains act independently and contribute equally to form the SNARE complex with syntaxin and synaptobrevin. It seems that a major regulatory element is located in the C-terminus of SNAP-25. Removing a 9 amino acid sequence of SNAP-25 inhibited neurosecretion in chromaffin cells. In addition, it has been shown that inhibition of neurosecretion by botulinum toxin E can be rescued by a SNAP-25 C-terminal peptide, probably by initiating the formation of a fusion competent SNARE complex.

Description: Sum1, belongs to the WD repeat SMU1 family. Human SMU1 is a component of the spliceosome fSAP57. It is possible that the mutation in Smu1 affects spliceosome function, resulting in generation of improper splice variants, which could explain the phenotypes of tsTM18 cells. Some results suggest that Smu1 participates in at least two steps of splicing: splice-site choice and control of accuracy. This antibody is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against a region of human REDD1 antigen.

Description: Transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) superfamily is recognized as one of the largest families of secreted multifunctional peptides exerting different biological effects on a large variety of cell types, such as regulation of hormone secretion, stimulation of extracellular matrix formation, the inhibition of proliferation of many cell types, cell survival, bone formation, and chemotaxis for inflammatory cells. One of the most important proteins that modulate TGF-β ligand activity is the SMAD family proteins. SMAD1 is one of the receptor-activated Smads. It's also a signal transducers of BMP signaling and binds to several proteins involved in ubiquitin-proteasome system (UPS). Transcriptional modulator activated by BMP (bone morphogenetic proteins) type 1 receptor kinase
