Catalog Number: (77437-306)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Weakly binds calcium but binds zinc very tightly-distinct binding sites with different affinities exist for both ions on each monomer. Physiological concentrations of potassium ion antagonize the binding of both divalent cations, especially affecting high-affinity calcium-binding sites. Binds to and initiates the activation of STK38 by releasing autoinhibitory intramolecular interactions within the kinase. Interaction with AGER after myocardial infarction may play a role in myocyte apoptosis by activating ERK1/2 and p53/TP53 signaling.

Catalog Number: (76333-998)
Supplier: Biosensis
Description: Visinin (sometimes known as hippocalcin-like protein 3, HLP3, HPCAL3, HUVISL1, VLP-1, VILIP and VILIP-1) was originally isolated biochemically from chicken retina as a major protein of about 24kDa on SDS-PAGE (1). Following cloning and sequencing of visinin, several visinin like proteins were discovered by homology screening (2, 3). One of these, Visinin-like protein 1 is a small Calcium binding protein which is very abundant in the nervous system and is found only in neurons, though different neurons have different levels of expression (4, 5). It is particularly concentrated in cerebellar Purkinje cells, and tends to be most abundant in perikarya and dendrites. The protein belongs to the large superfamly of calmodulin and paravalbumin type proteins which function by binding Calcium ions. Calcium binding alters the confomation of these proteins and allow them to interact with other binding partners, the properties of which they may alter. Visinin-like protein 1 has four "EF hand" domains, which are negatively charged helix-turn-helix peptides which are responsible for Calcium binding. Visinin-like protein 1 is 191 amino acids in size and has a molecular weight on SDS-PAGE of 22kDa. The protein has recently been suggested to be a useful biomarker of Alzheimer's disease and traumatic brain injury (6, 7, 8).

Catalog Number: (H-7344.0005BA)
Supplier: Bachem Americas
Description: CALP-3, VKFGVGFK, acts as a calmodulin agonist. The octapeptide interacts with the calmodulin EF-hand motif, the Ca²⁺-binding site. CALP-3 activates phosphodiesterase in the absence of calcium and inhibits Ca²⁺-mediated cytotoxicity and apoptosis. CALP-3 is more active than CALP-1 (H-8155), By preventing trypsin activation within pancreatiic acinar cells CALP-3 shows potential therapeutic potential in the treatment of pancreatitis.

Catalog Number: (10081-936)
Supplier: Proteintech
Description: Annexin A2 (ANXA2), also named Annexin-2 or Lipocortin II, is a Ca2+ binding protein that is up-regulated in virally transformed cell lines and human tumors. This calcium-regulated membrane-binding protein, whose affinity for calcium is greatly enhanced by anionic phospholipids, may cross-link plasma membrane phospholipids with actin and the cytoskeleton and be involved with exocytosis. Heat-stress response may also involve Annexin-2.

Catalog Number: (89358-220)
Supplier: Genetex
Description: This gene is a member of the visinin/recoverin subfamily of neuronal calcium sensor proteins. The encoded protein is strongly expressed in granule cells of the cerebellum where it associates with membranes in a calcium-dependent manner and modulates intracellular signaling pathways of the central nervous system by directly or indirectly regulating the activity of adenylyl cyclase. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed, but their full-length nature has not been determined. [provided by RefSeq]

Supplier: Thermo Scientific Chemicals
Description: Potent L-type calcium channel antagonist
Supplier: Thermo Scientific Chemicals
Description: Used for fractionation and purification of proteins, enzymes, plasmids and nucleic acids.
Catalog Number: (10390-114)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: This is a membrane-bound, calcium-stimulable adenylyl cyclase. May be involved in learning, in memory and in drug dependence (By similarity).

Catalog Number: (75791-034)
Supplier: Prosci
Description: CAMK1D is a serine?threonine kinase that is a member of the calcium?calmodulin-dependent protein kinase family

Supplier: Bachem Americas
Description: F2L is an acetylated peptide corresponding to an N-terminal fragment of the human heme-binding protein. Ac-MLGMIKNSLFGSVETWPWQVL acts specifically through the FPR-like receptor (FPRL) 2 promoting calcium mobilization and chemotaxis in dendritic cells and monocytes. In neutrophils, F2L inhibited FPR and FPRL1-mediated signaling.

Catalog Number: (77439-682)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Calcium/phospholipid-binding protein which promotes membrane fusion and is involved in exocytosis.

Supplier: Biotium
Description: Coelenterazine and its analogs are luminescent enzyme substrates for apoaequorin and Renilla luciferase.

Catalog Number: (89329-536)
Supplier: Genetex
Description: Rabbit polyclonal antibody to ORAI2

Catalog Number: (76079-238)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Initiates the extrinsic pathway of blood coagulation. Serine protease that circulates in the blood in a zymogen form. Factor VII is converted to factor VIIa by factor Xa, factor XIIa, factor IXa, or thrombin by minor proteolysis. In the presence of tissue factor and calcium ions, factor VIIa then converts factor X to factor Xa by limited proteolysis. Factor VIIa will also convert factor IX to factor IXa in the presence of tissue factor and calcium.

Catalog Number: (77438-852)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Calcium-dependent, calmodulin-stimulated protein phosphatase. This subunit may have a role in the calmodulin activation of calcineurin.

Catalog Number: (10091-996)
Supplier: Proteintech
Description: Cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterases (PDEs) catalyze hydrolysis of the cyclic nucleotides cAMP and cGMP to the corresponding nucleoside 5-prime-monophosphates. PDE1C, is calmodulin-dependent PDEs (CaM-PDEs) that are stimulated by a calcium-calmodulin complex. Expression of PDE1C may be an important component in signal transduction pathways mediated by calcium that permit cell cycle traverse and proliferation. It has 2 isoforms produced by alternative splicing.
