Description: This antibody recognizes a 53 kDa protein, which is identified as p53 suppressor gene product. It reacts with the mutant as well as the wild form of p53 under denaturing and non-denaturing conditions. p53 is a tumor suppressor gene expressed in a wide variety of tissue types and is involved in regulating cell growth, replication, and apoptosis. It binds to MDM2, SV40 T antigen and human papilloma virus E6 protein. Positive nuclear staining with p53 antibody has been reported to be a negative prognostic factor in breast carcinoma, lung carcinoma, colorectal, and urothelial carcinoma. Anti-p53 positivity has also been used to differentiate uterine serous carcinoma from endometrioid carcinoma as well as to detect intratubular germ cell neoplasia. Mutations involving p53 are found in a wide variety of malignant tumors, including breast, ovarian, bladder, colon, lung, and melanoma.

Supplier: Prosci
Description: DNAJC13, also known as receptor-mediated endocytosis 8 (RME8), is the human homolog to a DnaJ domain-containing protein originally identified in a screen for endocytic defects in C. elegans. It is thought to be a co-chaperone of Hsc70 which regulates protein conformation at membrane sites and plays a role in intracellular trafficking, co-localizing with markers of the endosomal system. Recent experiments have indicated that the DNAJC13 protein is involved in membrane trafficking through early endosomes but not through degradative organelles. DNAJC13 has been also been shown to regulate the intracellular trafficking of the epidermal growth factor receptor.

Catalog Number: (10084-270)
Supplier: Proteintech
Description: CD14 is a 50-55 kDa glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored glycoprotein. CD14 is preferentially expressed on monocytes and macrophages. CD14 acts as a co-receptor (along with TLR4 and MD-2) for bacterial liposaccharides (LPS). It plays a major role in the inflammatory response of monocytes to LPS.

Description: This antibody recognizes a 53 kDa protein, which is identified as p53 suppressor gene product. It reacts with the mutant as well as the wild form of p53. Its epitope maps within the N-terminus (aa 37-45) of p53. Monoclonal antibody PAb1801 does not block the binding of DO-7 MAb to p53 in an ELISA test. p53 is a tumor suppressor gene expressed in a wide variety of tissue types and is involved in regulating cell growth, replication, and apoptosis. Supplier: AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES, INC (CSD) CA
Description: A reliable, crosslinked, nonpolar column with low bleed and a high temperature limit, delivering superb performance for general purpose applications.

Supplier: Biotium
Description: PAb122 binds to the C-terminus (aa370-378) of both wild type and mutated p53. When microinjected into nuclei, PAb122 blocked re-entry into the S-phase of the cell cycle. Mutation and/or allelic loss of p53 is one of the causes of a variety of mesenchymal and epithelial tumors. If it occurs in the germ line, such tumors run in families. p53 Binds to a DNA consensus sequence, the p53 response element, and it regulates normal cell growth cycle events by activating transcription of genes, involved either in progression through the cycle, or causing arrest in G1 when the genome is damaged. In most transformed and tumor cells the concentration of p53 is increased 51000 fold over the minute concentrations (1000 molecules cell) in normal cells, principally due to the increased half-life (4 h) compared to that of the wild-type (20 min). p53 Localizes in the nucleus, but is detectable at the plasma membrane during mitosis and when certain mutations modulate cytoplasmic/nuclear distribution. p53 Is the most commonly mutated gene in spontaneously occurring human cancers. Mutations arise with an average frequency of 70% but incidence varies from zero in carcinoid lung tumors to 97% in primary melanomas. High concentrations of p53 protein are transiently expressed in human epidermis and superficial dermal fibroblasts following mild ultraviolet irradiation.

Catalog Number: (CAPIPA5-12652)
Supplier: Thermo Scientific
Description: This antibody is predicted to react with mouse based on sequence homology. EP300 encodes the adenovirus E1A-associated cellular p300 transcriptional co-activator protein. p300 is related by sequence to CPB (CREB-binding protein [CREB: cyclic-AMP responsive element binding protein]), and like CPB can stimulate transcription through activation of CREB. This EP300 activity is specifically inhibited by the adenovirus oncoprotein E1A. EP300 has also been identified as a co-activator of HIF1A (hypoxia-inducible factor 1 alpha), and thus plays a role in the stimulation of hypoxia-induced genes such as VEGF.

Supplier: Sino Biological
Description: Recombinant full length human p110alpha (E545K) mutant subunit and full length human p85alpha wild-type subunit were co-expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-terminal GST tag on both proteins.
