Description: VEGF receptor 2 is a member of a receptor tyrosine kinase family whose activation plays an essential role in a large number of biological processes such as embryonic development, wound healing, cell proliferation, migration and differentiation. Like other growth factor receptors, upon ligand binding VEGF receptor 2 dimerises and is autophosphorylated on multiple tyrosine residues. These sites can be involved in the regulation of kinase activity or serve as binding sites for SH2 and phosphotyrosine binding containing signalling proteins. Phosphorylation of Tyrosines 1054 and 1059 in the activation loop is required for activation of VEGF receptor 2 and its intrinsic tyrosine kinase activity.

Description: ZAP70, a 70 kDa member of the Syk tyrosine kinase family, plays a central role in lymphocyte activation and development, and is implicated in several immune disorders. Upon T cell antigen receptor (TCR) engagement, ZAP70 is phosphorylated on tyrosines 292, 315 and 319 in the interdomain B, located between the SH2 and kinase domains. Phosphorylation of both tyrosines 315 (a Vav binding site) and 319 (a Lck binding site) enhances ZAP70 function in mediating lymphocyte signaling, while tyrosine 292 terminates the transient activation of ZAP70 and attentuates lymphocyte signaling. Phosphorylation of tyrosines 315 and 319 plays an important role in mediating the positive and negative selection of T cells in thymus.

Description: DOK1 Antibody: Signals from most growth factors and cytokines are transduced by receptor tyrosine kinases or non-receptor tyrosine kinases. Activated tyrosine kinases phosphorylate their substrates, which mediate the cellular response to extracellular stimuli. A long-sought major substrate termed p62dok (downstream of tyrosine kinase) for many tyrosine kinases including c-kit, v-abl, v-Fps, v-Src, v-Fms, and activated EGF, PDGF, IGF, VEGF and insulin receptors was identified recently from human and mouse by several laboratories. Upon phosphorylation, p62dok forms a complex with the ras GTPase-activating protein (RasGAP). p62dok represents a new family with very recently identified p56dok.

Description: The protein encoded by Tyrosine Hydroxylase is involved in the conversion of tyrosine to dopamine. It is the rate-limiting enzyme in the synthesis of catecholamines, hence plays a key role in the physiology of adrenergic neurons. Mutations in this gene have been associated with autosomal recessive Segawa syndrome. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been noted for this gene.

Supplier: Proteintech
Description: The fyn-related kinase (FRK) belongs to the tyrosine kinase family of protein kinases and is also named as PTK5(protein-tyrosine kinase 5), RAK(Nuclear tyrosine protein kinase). The Frk is a tyrosine kinase expressed in various tissues, such as the gastrointestinal tract and pancreatic islet cells. It affects pancreatic beta cell number during embryogenesis and promotes beta cell cytotoxic signals in response to streptozotocin. It may function as a tumor suppressor.

Description: IGF1R(insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor), a transmembrane receptor tyrosine kinase, is widely expressed in many cell types within fetal and postnatal tissues, and in many cell lines. Upon binding to its ligands, IGF-I and IGF-II, receptor autophosphorylation occurs. The triple tyrosine cluster within the kinase domain (Tyr1131, Tyr1135 and Tyr1136) is the earliest major site of autophosphorylation. Phosphorylation of these three tyrosine residues is necessary for kinase activation.Insulin receptors (IRs) share significant similarity with IGF1 receptors in both structure and function, including an equivalent triple tyrosine cluster within the activation loop of the kinase domain (Tyr1146, Tyr1150 and Tyr1151).Tyrosine autophosphorylation of insulin receptor is one of the earliest cellular responses to insulin stimulation. Autophosphorylation begins with phosphorylation of Tyr1146 and either Tyr1150 or Tyr1151. Full kinase activation requires the triple tyrosine phosphorylation.

Description: Fibroblast growth factors (FGFs) produce mitogenic and angiogenic effects in target cells by signaling through the cellular surface tyrosine kinase receptors. There are four members of the FGF receptor family: FGFR-1 (flg), FGFR-2 (bek, KGFR), FGFR-3 and FGFR-4. Each receptor contains an extracellular ligand binding domain, a transmembrane region and a cytoplasmic kinase domain (1). Following ligand binding and dimerization, the receptors are phosphorylated at specific tyrosine residues (2). Seven tyrosine residues in the cytoplasmic tail of FGFR-1 can be phosphorylated: Tyr463, Tyr583, Tyr585, Tyr653, Tyr654, Tyr730 and Tyr766. Tyrosine 653 and 654 are important for catalytic activity of the activated FGFR and are essential for signaling (3). The other phosphorylated tyrosine residues may provide docking sites for downstream signaling components such as Crk and PLCgamma.
