Catalog Number: (CA76634-424)
Supplier: Diagnostic Biosystems
Description: This antibody reacts with mast cells distributed in skin, synovium, lung, and heart. This antibody does not bind with any other cell type. Mast cells contain a number of preformed chemicals mediators such as histamine, chymase, carboxypeptidase, and proteolytic tryptase. Human mast cell tryptase is considered to be an important marker of mast cell activation and is an important mediator of inflammation.

Description: This antibody is predicted to react with bovine, canine, mouse, porcine and rat based on sequence homology. Phosphoglyceric acid mutase is widely distributed in mammalian tissues where it catalyzes the reversible reaction of 3-phosphoglycerate to 2-phosphoglycerate in the glycolytic pathway .

Supplier: Tonbo Biosciences
Description: The 104 antibody reacts with mouse CD45.2, also known as Ly5.2, which is a strain-specific allelic form of the CD45 Leukocyte Common Antigen (LCA). Functionally, CD45 is a protein tyrosine phosphatase whose broad cell distribution supports a critical role in many leukocyte functions, including regulation of signal transduction and cell activation associated with the T cell and B cell receptors.

Supplier: Enzo Life Sciences
Description: FKBP59, also known as Hsp56/p59 is an immunophilin that is a component of Hsp70/Hsp90/steroid receptor complexes. Expression of FKBP59 is increased in response to heat shock and ischemic stress, and is thought to play a role in the folding and cytoplasmic/nuclear distribution of steroid receptors.

Description: Sulfotransferase enzymes catalyze the sulfate conjugation of many hormones, neurotransmitters, drugs, and xenobiotic compounds. These cytosolic enzymes are different in their tissue distributions and substrate specificities. The gene structure (number and length of exons) is similar among family members. This gene encodes one of two phenol sulfotransferases with thermostable enzyme activity. Multiple alternatively spliced variants that encode two isoforms have been identified for this gene.

Supplier: Diagnostic Biosystems
Description: Epithelial antigen is a cell surface glycoprotein and is broadly distributed in epithelial cells and displays a highly conserved expression in carcinomas. Epithelial antigen has been shown to play an important role as a tumor cell marker in lymph nodes from patients with esophageal carcinoma. Epithelial antigen can be used to distinguish between basal cell and basosquamous carcinomas and squamous cell carcinoma of the skin.

Catalog Number: (75841-684)
Supplier: BIOGEMS INTERNATIONAL INC.
Description: The 17A2 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with the MouseT lymphocytes receptor (TCR) associated CD3 complex, resulting in cellular activation and proliferation. CD3 is expressed by thymocytes and mature lymphocytes, and contains γ, δ, and ε subunits, involved in the assembly, trafficking, and surface expression of T-cell receptor complex. The interaction between the T lymphocytes and the 17A2 antibody can be blocked by the 145-2C11 anti-CD3e antibody, demonstrating that the 17A2 antibody recognizes the CD3 ε chain.

Description: The BNI3 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with human CD152, the Cytotoxic T-Lymphocyte Antigen 4 (CTLA-4). CTLA-4 is expressed on activated CD28+ T cells, and binds the B7 family members B7-1 (CD80) and B7-2 (CD86). The structure of CTLA-4 is similar to the structure of CD28, but the two molecules seem to have opposite roles on the T lymphocytes. CTLA-4 inhibits the progression of T cell activation, while CD28 stimulates it. This result explains the stimulating role that the immobilization of BNI3 plays on the T lymphocytes proliferation induced by CD28.

Supplier: BIOGEMS INTERNATIONAL INC.
Description: The MF23 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with the mouse 50-55 kDa Foxp3 protein (JM2, IPEX), a member of the forkhead family of transcription factors. Foxp3 is expressed by the Treg lymphocytes, whose development and function are influenced by the forkhead protein. Ectopic expression of Foxp3 in T lymphocytes inhibits their activity and cytokine expression. Mutations of Foxp3 result in the “scurfy” mice phenotype. It is reported that the MF23 antibody recognizes an epitope between 1-87 amino acids in the N-terminal domain of mouse Foxp3.

Description: Hsp20 is a small heat shock protein related to Hsp25, Hsp27 and may form different hetercomplexes with these proteins. The specific physiological function of Hsp20 is not yet known. It is distributed ubiquitously in tissues, but is found in higher levels in skeletal, smooth and heart muscle. Under normal conditions, Hsp20 is diffusely distributed in the cytosol, but under heat stress conditions, it translocates to the nucleus. Unlike other heat shock proteins the amount of Hsp20 does not increase after heat shock. The Hsp20 was demonstrated to constitute up to 1.3% of the total cellular protein in vertebrate tissues, especially in muscle, and its expression is related to muscle contraction, specifically in slow-twitch muscle. Hsp20 may form different heterocomplexes with other Hsp's, such as alpha-crystalline and Hsp25. Phosphorylated form of Hsp20 is proposed to interact with monomeric actin whereas dephosphorylated form binds polymeric actin filaments. In normal conditions Hsp20 is diffusely disturbed in cytosol but under the heat stress it undergoes translocation to membrane fraction.

Description: Corticotropin Releasing Factor (CRF), a 41 amino acids neuropeptide, belongs to a family of structurally related peptides including urocortin, sauvagine and urotensin I. CRF is critical in the regulation of the pituitary- adrenal gland axis, and in endocrine, autonomic and behavioral responses to stress. CRF is widely distributed in the brain and peripheral nervous system with the highest levels in the hypothalamic paraventricular nucleus.
