Catalog Number: (CA11016-918)
Supplier: Hach
Description: For determination of copper by the bicinchoninate method

Supplier: Wards
Description: Teach About Gravity

Catalog Number: (CA11014-634)
Supplier: Hach
Description: Copper exists in water as a soluble salt or as suspended solids. Concentrations exceeding 0.1 mg/L are useful for controlling algae and plankton growth. Quantities ranging from 0.02 to 0.1 mg/L are toxic for some fish, so its use for treating fish disease requires careful monitoring.

Supplier: Thermo Scientific Chemicals
Description: 1-(3-Dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide methiodide 98%
Supplier: DFC Ceramics
Description: Cups are used for annealing gold buttons and for ignition of precipitates, such as barium sulfate, copper sulfide, silica, etc.

Supplier: Electron Microscopy Sciences
Description: Clips are made from spring grade beryllium-copper alloy.

Catalog Number: (76715-396)
Supplier: AFG Bioscience
Description: Human High Affinity Copper Uptake Protein 1 (SLC31A1) ELISA Kit

Catalog Number: (10342-906)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Plays a role in the export of proteins that lack a signal peptide and are secreted by an alternative pathway. Binds two calcium ions per subunit. Binds one copper ion. Binding of one copper ion does not interfere with calcium binding. Required for the copper-dependent stress-induced export of IL1A and FGF1. The calcium-free protein binds to lipid vesicles containing phosphatidylserine, but not to vesicles containing phosphatidylcholine (By similarity).

Catalog Number: (CA1.10003.0001)
Supplier: MilliporeSigma
Description: The test is suitable, for instance, for monitoring and testing of wastewater, from electroplating and copper etching process as well as waste water used in the manufacture of printing plates and printed circuits

Supplier: Ricca Chemical
Description: APHA, for organic nitrogen.
Catalog Number: (76099-942)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Hephaestin is a single-pass type I membrane protein that belongs to the multicopper oxidase family of proteins. Hephaestin, a copper-dependant ferroxidase protein, is crucial for iron exiting intestinal enterocytes into the circulation. It mediates the movement of iron across the basolateral membrane in conjunction with ferroportin 1. This is an important link between iron and copper metabolism in mammalian systems, as copper deficiency leads to reduced hephaestin and reduced iron absorption resulting in anemia. Hephaestin can bind six copper ions per monomer and is regulated by the homeobox transcription factor CDX2. Increased levels of iron leads to an increase in CDX2 expression and thus Hephaestin. Hephaestin is primarily detected in the intestine, but is also expressed in colon, breast, bone trabecural cells and fibroblasts.

Catalog Number: (10475-288)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Promotes ubiquitination of NF-kappa-B subunit RELA and its subsequent proteasomal degradation. Down-regulates NF-kappa-B activity. Down-regulates SOD1 activity by interfering with its homodimerization. Plays a role in copper ion homeostasis. Can bind one copper ion per monomer. May function to facilitate biliary copper excretion within hepatocytes.Tissue specificity:Ubiquitous. Highest expression in the liver, with lower expression in brain, lung, placenta, pancreas, small intestine, heart, skeletal muscle, kidney and placenta.

Description: The sodium-iodide symporter (NIS, or SLC5A5) is a key plasma membrane protein that mediates active I- uptake in thyroid, lactating breast, and other tissues with an electrogenic stoichiometry of 2 Na+ per I-. In thyroid, NIS-mediated I- uptake is the first step in the biosynthesis of iodine-containing thyroid hormones. The sodium-iodide symporter (NIS, or SLC5A5) is a key plasma membrane protein that mediates active I- uptake in thyroid, lactating breast, and other tissues with an electrogenic stoichiometry of 2 Na+ per I-.
