Catalog Number: (89139-578)
Supplier: Biotium
Description: Full name: 6-Carboxytetramethylrhodamine succinimidyl ester single isomer. Amine-reactive form ofcarboxytetramethylrhodamine (TAMRA) single isomer.

Catalog Number: (103010-824)
Supplier: Anaspec Inc
Description: 6-ROX, SE is the other purified single isomer of 5(6)-ROX, SE. It appears that 5-ROX is more often used than 6-ROX for labeling peptides and proteins. 6-ROX is predominately used for labeling nucleotides and sequencing nucleic acids.

Supplier: Anaspec Inc
Description: Tetramethylrhodamine (TMR) is one of the fluorophores most often used for preparing peptide, protein, nucleotide and nucleic acid conjugates, especially fluorescent antibodies and avidin derivatives used in immunochemistry. TMR dyes have been widely used as acceptors for FAM fluorophores in a variety of FRET studies. The succinimidyl esters of 5-TAMRA, 6-TAMRA or the mixed isomers are the primary labeling reagents.

Supplier: Anaspec Inc
Description: Although FITC reagents have been more often used to prepare fluoresceinated bioconjugates, the low stability of FITC bioconjugates makes some researchers use amine-reactive succinimidyl esters of carboxyfluorescein (commonly called FAM) in bioconjugations. FAM reagents give carboxamides that are more resistant to hydrolysis. We have shown that FAM reagents require less stringent reaction conditions and give better conjugation yields, and the resulted conjugates have superior stability. We noted that FITC labeled peptides tend to deteriorate more quickly than the corresponding FAM conjugates.

Supplier: Anaspec Inc
Description: Although the mixed TAMRA isomers are predominantly used for labeling proteins, the single isomers are increasingly preferred for labeling peptides and nucleotides because they give better resolution in HPLC purification that is often required in the conjugation processes. 5-TAMRA is more often used than 6-TAMRA for labeling peptides and proteins. 6-TAMRA is predominately used for labeling nucleotides and sequencing nucleic acids.

Description: mFluor™ Violet 550 dyes have fluorescence excitation and emission maxima of ~405 nm and ~550 nm respectively.

Catalog Number: (77461-392)
Supplier: AAT BIOQUEST INC
Description: mFluor™ Blue 585 dyes are an excellent alternative to RPE since they have the spectral properties equivalent to those of RPE conjugates.

Catalog Number: (89139-556)
Supplier: Biotium
Description: 6-FAM, SE (full name: 6-Carboxyfluorescein, succinimidyl ester, single isomer) is the amine-reactive form of 6-carboxyfluorescein single isomer.
6-FAM SE is an amine-reactive green fluorescent dye widely used for labeling oligonucleotides or other biomolecules that contain a primary or secondary aliphatic amine. The coupling reaction is usually carried out at pH 8-9.5.
