Description: DHRS3 belongs to the short-chain dehydrogenases/reductases (SDR) family. It catalyzes the reduction of all-trans-retinal to all-trans-retinol in the presence of NADPH. DHRS3 is located in a region of chromosome 1 which is often deleted in aggressive neuroblastoma tumors. There are two named isoforms.

Description: PPIA is a member of the peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIase) family. PPIases catalyze the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides and accelerate the folding of proteins. PPIA is a cyclosporin binding-protein and may play a role in cyclosporin A-mediated immunosuppression. The protein can also interact with several HIV proteins, including p55 gag, Vpr, and capsid protein, and has been shown to be necessary for the formation of infectious HIV virions. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIase) family. It has been shown to be necessary for the formation of infectious HIV virions. Multiple pseudogenes that map to different chromosomes have been reported. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding two distinct isoforms have been observed.

Description: This protein may be involved in regulating membrane traffic to and from trans-Golgi network. Isoform TGN46 is widely expressed. Isoform TGN51 is more abundant in fetal lung and kidney. Isoform TGN48 is barely expressed in embryonic kidney and promyelocytic cells.

Supplier: Prosci
Description: ATPase, Copper-transporting, beta polypeptide; Copper-transporting ATPase 1. Copper-transporting ATPase 1 is an integral membrane protein cycling constitutively between the trans-golgi network and the plasma membrane. It may supply copper to copper-requiring proteins within the secretory pathway, when localized in the trans-golgi network. Under conditions of elevated extracellular copper, it relocalized to the plasma membrane where it functions in the efflux of copper from cells.

Supplier: Proteintech
Description: RAB 31, also named as RAB22b, belongs to small GTP-binding proteins of the RAB family. Rab31 localizes in the trans-Golgi network (TGN) and endosomes. It is required for transport of mannose 6-phosphate receptors (MPRs) from the trans-Golgi network (TGN) to endosomes. This antibody can bind RAB31 specifically, and not react RAB22a.

Supplier: Proteintech
Description: LRAT belongs to the H-rev107 family. LRAT transfers the acyl group from the sn-1 position of phosphatidylcholine to all-trans retinol, producing all-trans retinyl esters. LRAT plays a critical role in vision. It provides the all-trans retinyl ester substrates for the isomerohydrolase which processes the esters into 11-cis-retinol in the retinal pigment epithelium; due to a membrane-associated alcohol dehydrogenase, LRAT monomers(26kd) interact in membranes and form functional homodimers (50-54kd) through protein-protein interactions and disulfide bond formation.Defects in LRAT are a cause of severe early-onset retinal dystrophy (RD). This antibody was generated against the internal residues of human LRAT. It is predicted to detect endogenous LRAT.

Description: This gene encodes a member of the hydratase/isomerase superfamily. The protein encoded is a key mitochondrial enzyme involved in beta-oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids. It catalyzes the transformation of 3-cis and 3-trans-enoyl-CoA esters arising during the stepwise degradation of cis-, mono-, and polyunsaturated fatty acids to the 2-trans-enoyl-CoA intermediates. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2011]

Description: Cyclophilin C is an enzyme (EC 5.2.1.8) found in both prokaryotes and eukaryotes that interconverts the cis and trans isomers of peptide bonds with the amino acid proline. Proline has an unusually conformationally restrained peptide bond due to its cyclic structure with its side chain bonded to its secondary amine nitrogen. Most amino acids have a strong energetic preference for the trans peptide bond conformation due to steric hindrance, but prolines unusual structure stabilizes the cis form so that both isomers are populated under biologically relevant conditions. Proteins with prolyl isomerase activity include cyclophilin, FKBPs, and parvulin, although larger proteins can also contain prolyl isomerase domains.

Description: This gene encodes a member of the lipoxygenase gene family and plays a dual role in the synthesis of leukotrienes from arachidonic acid. The encoded protein, which is expressed specifically in bone marrow-derived cells, catalyzes the conversion of arachidonic acid to 5(S)-hydroperoxy-6-trans-8,11,14-cis-eicosatetraenoic acid, and further to the allylic epoxide 5(S)-trans-7,9-trans-11,14-cis-eicosatetrenoic acid (leukotriene A4). Leukotrienes are important mediators of a number of inflammatory and allergic conditions. Mutations in the promoter region of this gene lead to a diminished response to antileukotriene drugs used in the treatment of asthma and may also be associated with atherosclerosis and several cancers. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed, but their full-length nature has not been determined.
