Supplier: CUBE BIOTECH
PureCube Epoxy Agarose resin is your best option to couple biomolecules that carry free-standing amine or thiol groups.
- Usage: Coupling proteins to active Epoxy Groups
- Specificity: Exposed amine (NH₂) or thiol (SH) groups on biomolecule
- Bead ligand: Chemically active Epoxy groups
- Epoxy group density: 20 µmol/ml
- Bead size: 40 μm
- Filling quantity: Delivered as a 50% suspension
- Storage buffer: 100% isopropanol
- Matrix: 7.5% cross-linked agarose
- Short term storage: In equilibration buffer (see protocol) at 4 °C
- Long term storage: Best lyophilized, or in 100% isopropanol at 4 °C
- Shelf life: If properly stored - 6 months upon delivery, unopened
- Chemical structure: Epoxy structure
The resulting Amide or Thioether bond between the Epoxy Agarose beads and your biomolecule of interest is stable so that the bead can be used for other applications afterward.
