The Rapid Response® Influenza AB + COVID-19 Antigen – 3 in 1 Test is a rapid test that can detect and differentiate antigens from three common viral respiratory infection: COVID-19, Influenza A and Influenza B in anterior nasal or nasopharyngeal swab specimens from individuals suspected of COVID-19 or Influenza AB within the first 7 days of symptoms onset.

The Rapid Response® Influenza AB + COVID-19 Antigen – 3 in 1 Test is an in vitro lateral flow immunoassay for the detection and differentiation of nucleoprotein antigens from SARS-CoV-2, Influenza A and/or Influenza B. This test detects respiratory pathogens in anterior nasal or nasopharyngeal swab specimens from individuals suspected of COVID-19 or Influenza AB within the first 7 days of symptoms onset. The Rapid Response® Influenza AB + COVID-19 Antigen – 3 in 1 Test offers healthcare professionals a streamlined workflow, testing for three pathogens with just one collection. This kit includes all materials needed to run the test. To perform the test, remove the test cassette from the pouch and place it on a flat surface. Tear the foil off the top of the pre-filled extraction buffer tube and place it on the tube stand. Then place the swab with the collected specimen sample into the extraction buffer liquid. Rotate the swab 10-15 times while squeezing the tube to release the specimen. Remove the swab while squeezing the tube to expel the liquid from the swab. Secure the nozzle dropper cap tightly onto the top of the extraction tube. Add 3 drops of the sample solution to each of the two sample wells. Read the results after 15 minutes.
Interpretation of test results for COVID-19/SARS-CoV-2 antigen test: positive (2 lines), negative (1 line), invalid (no lines or no control line).
Interpretation of test results for Influenza A/B test: Influenza A positive (1 line in the control region (C) and 1 line in the A region (A)), Influenza B positive (1 line in the control region (C) and 1 line in the B region (B), Influenza A+B positive (1 line in the control region (C) and 2 other lines in both the A region (A) and B region (B). Negative (1 line in the control region (C), Invalid (no lines in the control region (C).
Certifications: The Rapid Response® Influenza AB + COVID-19 Antigen – 3 in 1 Test is authorized under the Health Canada Interim Order (IO #356389). This test is suitable for use by healthcare professionals and laboratory personnel trained to perform the test.
