Antitumor agent.

Formulation: White to off-white crystalline powder.

Platinum analog which has wide spectrum anticancer activity. It is found to be more active against human melanoma cell lines, and has better biochemical, pharmacological and cytotoxic properties than cisplatin and carboplatin.

Slightly soluble in water (7.9 mg/mL); very slightly soluble in methanol; almost insoluble in 100% ethanol.
