A safe and highly efficient coupling reagent requiring only one equivalent of base during bond formation as it liberates morpholine. This helps to minimize concomitant racemization. Non-allergenic. Couplings with COMU can be monitored visually or colorimetrically, the reagent shows excellent solubility in DMF and NMP. COMU is especially suited for microwave-accelerated SPPS.
