Enzymatic Methyl-seq (EM-seq™): A new option for 5mC and 5hmC identification
Increase accuracy and sensitivity of methylation detection
Identification of 5mC and 5hmC in DNA increases insight into gene regulatory mechanisms. Bisulfite sequencing has been commonly used for this, but the chemical-based conversion damages and degrades DNA, introducing bias into the data. In this webinar we will discuss NEBNext® Enzymatic Methyl-seq (EM-seq™), an enzyme-based method that minimizes damage to DNA. This method enables longer insert sizes, lower duplication rates and reduced GC bias, resulting in more accurate and sensitive methylation detection.
