Description: About 50% of patients with polymyositis/scleroderma (PM-Scl) overlap syndrome are reported to have autoantibodies to a neuclear/nucleolar particle termed PM-Scl. Exosome component 10 (EXOSC10), also named autoantigen PM/Scl 2, is the 100 kDa antigen component of PM-Scl and is recognized by most sera of PM-Scl paitents. EXOSC10 is strongly enriched in the nucleolus and a small amount has been found in cytoplasm supporting the existence of a nucleolar RNA exosome complex form. As a putative catalytic component of the RNA exosome complex which has 3'->5' exoribonuclease activity, EXOSC10 participates in a multitude of cellular RNA processing and degradation events.

Description: TRPS1 is a zinc finger transcriptional repressor involved in the regulation of chondrocyte and perichondrium development, containing a GATA-type zinc finger through which it binds to DNA. with nine zinc-finger domains and two C-terminal Ikaros-like zinc fingers. Its reperssible function was dependent on the integrity of the Trps1 GATA-type zinc-finger domain and also required the C-terminal 119 amino acids of the protein, which harbor the two Ikaros-like zinc-finger domains

Description: Cullin-RING ligases (CRLs) complexes participate in the regulation of diverse cellular processes, including cell cycle progression, transcription, signal transduction and development . Serving as the scaffold protein, cullins are crucial for the assembly of ligase complexes, which recognize and target various substrates for proteosomal degradation. Two cullin 4 (CUL4) proteins, CUL4A (87 kDa) and CUL4B(104 kDa), are two members in cullin family with 83% of identity. Mutations in human CUL4B are one of the major causes of X-linked mental retardation. Cul4b knockout mice demonstrated that CUL4B is indispensable for embryonic development in the mouse . Proteintech's CUL4B antibody 20882-1-AP can specifically recognize CUL4B.

Description: mtTFA (mitochondrial transcription factor A), also known as mtTF1, TFAM, TCF6 (for transcription factor 6-like1), TCF6L2 and tsHMG, is a nuclear-encoded gene product that is imported into the mitochondria. mtTFA is required for many aspects of mitochondrial biogenesis including the replication and transcription of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA). In mouse, testis-specific mtTFA is missing the mitochondria targeting sequence and is present in the nucleus rather than the mitochondria. This form of mtTFA is located primarily in the nuclei of elongated spermatids and may be involved in the regulation of gene expression of the haploid male genome. During mouse and human spermatogenesis there is a reduction of mtTFA protein levels and a reduction in mtDNA copy number. These features may provide one of the mechanisms by which paternal mtDNA transmission is prevented. mtTFA has been associated with mitochondrial disorder in humans characterized by ocular myopathy, exercise intolerance and muscle wasting. This antibody specifically recognizes the 25kd human TFAM protein.

Description: ADP-ribosylation factors (ARFs) are members of the ARF family of GTP-binding proteins of the Ras superfamily, with 20kda protein size. ARFs bind and regulate GTP/GDP cycle by alternating between the active GTP-bound and inactive GDP-bound conformations. ARF family proteins are essential and ubiquitous in eukaryotes. Six highly conserved members of the family have been identified in mammalian cells. They function in vesicular traffic and actin remodelling and other bioprocesses in cells. The ARF1 protein is localized to the Golgi apparatus and has a central role in intra-Golgi transport. It mainly functions in coat recruitment.. The antibody is specific to ARF1.

Description: Ubiquitin, a highly conserved protein involved in the regulation of intracellular protein breakdown, cell cycle regulation, and stress response, is released from degraded proteins by disassembly of the polyubiquitin chains. The disassembly process is mediated by ubiquitin-specific proteases (USPs). USP2 is also named as UBP41. USP2 can interact indirectly with multiple clock proteins, so it remains possible that USP2 may modulate the ubiquitination and function of these other proteins. It has 4 isoforms produced by alternative splicing. This antibody is specific to the isoform 1(USP2a) of USP2.

Description: USP11(Ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 11), also named as UHX1, is a deubiquitinating enzyme controling many intracellular processes, including cell cycle progression, transcriptional activation, and signal transduction. There are four bands of 120 kDa, 55 kDa, 50 kDa and 44 kDa to be detected in HeLa extract by western blot and the smaller proteins may be degradation products, some other spliced products could possibly correspond to the smaller proteins and possess functions. This protein belongs to the peptidase C19 family.

Description: Archain 1 (ARCN1), also known as delta-COP, is a subunit of the coat protein I (COPI) complex, which comprises one of the protein coats that mediate vesicle budding from the membrane. Protein sequences of ARCN1 are well conserved among eukaryotes and this protein may play a fundamental role in eukaryotic cell biology. It has similarities to heat shock proteins and clathrin-associated proteins, and may be involved in vesicle structure or trafficking. The gene of ARCN1 has been identified in chromosome band 11q23.3, and sequencing of cDNAs suggests that at least two forms of mRNA with alternative 5' ends are present.

Description: AADACL1(Arylacetamide deacetylase-like 1) is also named as NCEH1, KIAA1363 and belongs to the 'GDXG' lipolytic enzyme family. The transmembrane enzyme, AADACL1, controls the production of the monoalkylglycerol ether (MAGE) class of NELs in cancer cells and acts as a 2-acetyl MAGE hydrolase and is likely the principal source for this activity in tumor cells. The full length protein has three glycosylation sites and can be N-glycosylated. It has 3 isoforms produced by alternative splicing.

Description: HPSE(Heparanase) is also named as HEP, HPA, HPA1, HPR1, HPSE1, HSE1 and belongs to the glycosyl hydrolase 79 family. It is a endoglycosidase that cleaves heparan sulfate proteoglycans (HSPGs) into heparan sulfate side chains and core proteoglycans. HPSE is essential in the disassembly of the extracellular matrix (ECM) by invading cells. It has 3 isoforms produced by alternative splicing with the molecular weight of 61 kDa, 55 kDa and 53 kDa. The full length protein has six glycosylation sites. The cleavage of the 65 kDa form leads to the generation of a linker peptide, and 8 kDa and 50 kDa products. The active form, the 8/50 kDa heterodimer, is resistant to degradation and glycosylation of the 50 kDa subunit appears to be essential for its solubility.
