Supplier: Bioss
Description: Phospholipase C beta 1 catalyzes the formation of inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate and diacylglycerol from phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate. This reaction uses calcium as a cofactor and plays an important role in the intracellular transduction of many extracellular signals. Its gene is activated by two G-protein alpha subunits, alpha-q and alpha-11. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for its gene.

Description: PLCL1 is involved an inositol phospholipid based intracellular signaling cascade. Shows no PLC activity to phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate and sphatidylinositol. Component in the dependent endocytosis process of GABA A receptor (By similarity). Regulates the turnover of receptors and thus contributes to the maintenance of GABA mediated synaptic inhibition. Its aberrant expression could contribute to the genesis and progression of lung carcinoma. Acts as an inhibitor of PPP1C.

Description: Inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate 3-kinase isoform B (IITPKB) is also named as IP3KB and possesses important roles in the development of immune cells. IP3KB can be targeted to multiple cellular compartments, among them nuclear localization and binding in close proximity to the plasma membrane. The B isoform is the only IP3K that is almost ubiquitously expressed in mammalian cells.Three isoforms of IP3KB occur in mammals, which are distinguished by different molecular masses, sensitivity to Ca2+/CaM(calmodulin), intracellular distribution and tissue expression .

Description: DGKH(Diacylglycerol kinase eta) is also named as DGK-eta and belongs to the eukaryotic diacylglycerol kinase family. It is a key protein in the lithium-sensitive phosphatidyl inositol pathway, and more recently a link between environmental stress and schizophrenia and possibly bipolar disorder has been revealed. DGKH has 3 isoforms produced by alternative splicing. Two isoforms DGKH1 and DGKH2 with the molecular weight of 128 kDa and 135 kDa shows diacylglycerol kinase activity; however, the 2 isoforms differed in several other characteristics.

Description: Carbonic anhydrases (CAs) are a large family of zinc metalloenzymes that catalyze the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. They participate in a variety of biological processes, including respiration, calcification, acid-base balance, bone resorption, and the formation of aqueous humor, cerebrospinal fluid, saliva, and gastric acid. They show extensive diversity in tissue distribution and in their subcellular localization. CA IV is a glycosylphosphatidyl-inositol-anchored membrane isozyme expressed on the luminal surfaces of pulmonary (and certain other) capillaries and of proximal renal tubules. Its exact function is not known, however, it may have a role in inherited renal abnormalities of bicarbonate transport.Carbonic anhydrases (CAs) are a large family of zinc metalloenzymes that catalyze the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. Description: This antibody reacts with human CD48, a 45 kDa glycosyl phophatidyl-inositol (GPI)-anchored cell surface protein. CD48 is strongly expressed on lymphocytes and monocytes and weakly on granulocytes but is absent on platelets, fibroblasts, epithelium and endothelium. CD48 is one of marker for detecting the defects of GPI anchoring structure on the patients with paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobulinuria (PNH) and serves as a low affinity ligand for CD2.

Description: Fructose-bisphosphate aldolase C (ALDOC) reversibly cleaves FBP and F1-P to glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate and dihydroxyacetone phosphate and is strongly expressed in mammalian brain together with ALDOA and is alsopresent in the heart and spleen of some species. It is involed in glycolysis as an important enzyme. Phospholipase D2 and inositol 1,4,5-triphosphate interact with ALDOC in signal transduction. Meanwhile, the protein expression of ALDOC has been reported to be regulated in brain tumor, hepatomas, and lung cancer.

Description: SESTD1 Antibody: SESTD1 was initially identified in mutant zebrafish with defects in the spontaneous contraction and touch response as a novel gene, solo, encoding a protein containing SEC14 and spectrin repeat domains. Other experiments indicated that SESTD1 interacts with the TRPC4 and TRPC5, members of the transient receptor potential channel family, via the TRPC calmodulin- and inositol 1, 4, 5-triphosphate receptor-binding domain and is essential for efficient receptor-mediated activation of TRPC5, suggesting that SESTD1 is a novel regulator of these TRPC proteins.

Description: The protein encoded by this gene is member of the GAP1 family of GTPase-activating proteins. The gene product stimulates the GTPase activity of normal RAS p21 but not its oncogenic counterpart. Acting as a suppressor of RAS function, the protein enhances the weak intrinsic GTPase activity of RAS proteins resulting in the inactive GDP-bound form of RAS, thereby allowing control of cellular proliferation and differentiation. This particular family member has a perinuclear localization and is an inositol 1,3,4,5-tetrakisphosphate-binding protein; a compound suggested to function as a second messenger.
