Catalog Number: (CARL600403-939)
Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical
Description: This affinity-purified antibody is suitable for use in ELISA and western blotting assays.  The antibody reacts specifically with acetylated lysine residues.

Catalog Number: (10083-672)
Supplier: Proteintech
Description: BRD8 is one of the bromodomain-containing proteins, which is an acetylated lysine- binding domain and thought to be involved in regulation of protein acetylation and/or HAT (histone acetyl transferase) activity . It is also reported to be an accessory subunit of NuA4 HAT complex (also known as TRRAP/TIP60 complex) through biochemical purification . In addition, it can bind to thyroid hormone receptor-ß and/or retinoid X receptor, and can act as a coactivator of the nuclear hormone receptor-mediated transcription in reporter assays .

Supplier: Genetex
Description: Rabbit polyclonal antibody to Histone H3 (Acetyl Lys9)

Catalog Number: (77438-128)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Catalytic subunit of the NuA4 histone acetyltransferase complex which is involved in transcriptional activation of select genes principally by acetylation of nucleosomal histones H4 and H2A. This modification may both alter nucleosome-DNA interactions and promote interaction of the modified histones with other proteins which positively regulate transcription. This complex may be required for the activation of transcriptional programs associated with oncogene and proto-oncogene mediated growth induction, tumor suppressor mediated growth arrest and replicative senescence, apoptosis, and DNA repair. NuA4 may also play a direct role in DNA repair when recruited to sites of DNA damage. Directly acetylates and activates ATM. Component of a SWR1-like complex that specifically mediates the removal of histone H2A.Z/H2AFZ from the nucleosome. In case of HIV-1 infection, interaction with the viral Tat protein leads to KAT5 polyubiquitination and targets it to degradation. Relieves NR1D2-mediated inhibition of APOC3 expression by acetylating NR1D2. Promotes FOXP3 acetylation and positively regulates its transcriptional repressor activity (PubMed:17360565).

Catalog Number: (76084-914)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Modulation of the chromatin structure plays an important role in the regulation of transcription in eukaryotes. The nucleosome, made up of four core histone proteins (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4), is the primary building block of chromatin. The N-terminal tail of core histones undergoes different posttranslational modifications including acetylation, phosphorylation and methylation. These modifications occur in response to cell signal stimuli and have a direct effect on gene expression. In most species, the histone H2B is primarily acetylated at lysines 5, 12, 15 and 20. Histone H3 is primarily acetylated at lysines 9, 14, 18 and 23. Acetylation at lysine 9 appears to have a dominant role in histone deposition and chromatin assembly in some organisms. Phosphorylation at Ser10 of histone H3 is tightly correlated with chromosome condensation during both mitosis and meiosis.
