Catalog Number: (10464-228)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: This magnesium-dependent enzyme catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the translocation of calcium from the cytosol to the sarcoplasmic reticulum lumen. Contributes to calcium sequestration involved in muscular excitation/contraction.

Catalog Number: (10399-954)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Apoptosis-inducing protein that, which can overcome BCL2 suppression. May play a role in repartitioning calcium between the two major intracellular calcium stores in association with BCL2.

Supplier: VWR International
Description: Meets reagent specifications for testing USP/NF monographs.
Catalog Number: (10375-136)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Calcium-binding protein. May have a role in calcium homeostasis. Nesfatin-1: Anorexigenic peptide, seems to play an important role in hypothalamic pathways regulating food intake and energy homeostasis, acting in a leptin-independent manner. May also exert hypertensive roles and modulate blood pressure through directly acting on peripheral arterial resistance (By similarity).

Catalog Number: (89319-452)
Supplier: Genetex
Description: Rabbit Polyclonal antibody to KCNMB1 (potassium large conductance calcium-activated channel, subfamily M, beta member 1)

Catalog Number: (10467-526)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Potassium channels are a group of ubiquitously expressed proteins that serve numerous functions in excitable and non-excitable cells. One class of integral membrane potassium channels is the large conductance, calcium-activated potassium channel (Maxi K+). Maxi K+ differs from most other potassium channels in that its activation is controlled by both increases in intracellular calcium and by membrane depolarization. Maxi K+ dual activation is possible because of its structure. The core of the channel, which is similar to other potassium channels, is a Maxi K+ alpha homotetramer that contains both a voltage sensor and an intracellular calcium binding domain. In vascular smooth muscle, an auxiliary beta-subunit is found in a 1:1 stoichiometry. The beta-subunit exhibits its effect on the Maxi K+ channel by effectively decreasing by 5- to 10- fold the concentration of calcium required to keep the pore open. Maxi K+ beta is the target for possible therapeutics because of its role in blood flow and blood pressure regulation.

Catalog Number: (89358-084)
Supplier: Genetex
Description: This gene encodes a member of a small calcium-binding EF-hand protein family. The encoded protein is thought to have a key role in Golgi calcium homeostasis and Ca(2+)-regulated signal transduction events. [provided by RefSeq]

Supplier: Bachem Americas
Description: Like Aβ (25-35) (H-1192), the Aβ fragment (1-38) destabilizes calcium homeostasis and renders human cortical neurones vulnerable to environmental insults.

Catalog Number: (CAPIPA5-18082)
Supplier: Thermo Scientific
Description: The product of this gene belongs to a subfamily of calcium binding proteins, which share similarity to calmodulin. Calcium binding proteins are an important component of calcium mediated cellular signal transduction. Expression of this gene was only detected in retina and brain. Study of the mouse homolog demonstrated that groups of cells expressing this protein are located in the center or inner border of the inner unclear layer of retina. Three alternatively spliced variants encoding different isoforms have been described.

Catalog Number: (10099-802)
Supplier: Prosci
Description: SLC8A3 is a member of the sodium/calcium exchanger integral membrane protein family. Three mammalian isoforms in family 8 have been identified. Na+/Ca2+ exchange proteins are involved in maintaining Ca2+ homeostasis in a wide variety of cell types. The protein is regulated by intracellular calcium ions and is found in both the plasma membrane and intracellular organellar membranes, where exchange of Na+ for Ca2+ occurs in an electrogenic manner. This gene encodes a member of the sodium/calcium exchanger integral membrane protein family.
