Supplier: Abcam
Description: Rabbit monoclonal [EPR26992-82] to Calcium-independent Phospholipase A2/PLA2G6 - BSA and Azide free (Capture).

New Product

Catalog Number: (10106-144)
Supplier: Prosci
Description: The L-type calcium channel is composed of four subunits: alpha-1, alpha-2, beta and gamma. The beta subunit of voltage-dependent calcium channels contributes to the function of the calcium channel by increasing peak calcium current, shifting the voltage dependencies of activation and inactivation, modulating G protein inhibition and controlling the alpha-1 subunit membrane targeting.

Supplier: VWR International
Description: Eosin Y 1% Alcoholic is a cytoplasmic stain that when used in the hematoxylin and eosin staining procedure provides excellent definition of cell components in shades of red and pink.
Supplier: AVANTOR PERFORMANCE MATERIAL LLC
Description: Crystals. GMP manufactured. Use for biotechnology applications.
Supplier: VWR International
Description: Humidity sponges turn any container into a desiccator and are ideal for storing samples, food, pharmaceuticals, electronics, PC boards, optics, diagnostics, museum pieces, chemicals, instruments, and documents.
Catalog Number: (10347-284)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Voltage-sensitive calcium channels (VSCC) mediate the entry of calcium ions into excitable cells and are also involved in a variety of calcium-dependent processes, including muscle contraction, hormone or neurotransmitter release, gene expression, cell motility, cell division and cell death. The isoform alpha-1G gives rise to T-type calcium currents. T-type calcium channels belong to the "low-voltage activated (LVA)" group and are strongly blocked by mibefradil. A particularity of this type of channel is an opening at quite negative potentials and a voltage-dependent inactivation. T-type channels serve pacemaking functions in both central neurons and cardiac nodal cells and support calcium signaling in secretory cells and vascular smooth muscle. They may also be involved in the modulation of firing patterns of neurons which is important for information processing as well as in cell growth processes.

Supplier: Thermo Scientific Chemicals
Description: Inhibitor of the sarco/endoplasmic reticulum calcium pump, calcium-ATPase
Supplier: Puritan Medical Products
Description: General all-purpose swabs for wound care
Catalog Number: (10083-934)
Supplier: Proteintech
Description: CACNA1B, also named as CACH5, CACNL1A5 and BIII, belongs to the calcium channel alpha-1 subunit (TC 1.A.1.11) family. Voltage-sensitive calcium channels (VSCC) mediate the entry of calcium ions into excitable cells and are also involved in a variety of calcium-dependent processes, including muscle contraction, hormone or neurotransmitter release, gene expression, cell motility, cell division and cell death. CACNA1B gives rise to N-type calcium currents. N-type calcium channels belong to the 'high-voltage activated' (HVA) group and are blocked by omega-conotoxin-GVIA (omega-CTx-GVIA) and by omega-agatoxin-IIIA (omega-Aga-IIIA). They are however insensitive to dihydropyridines (DHP), and omega-agatoxin-IVA (omega-Aga-IVA). CACNA1B may play a role in directed migration of immature neurons.

Catalog Number: (10342-906)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Plays a role in the export of proteins that lack a signal peptide and are secreted by an alternative pathway. Binds two calcium ions per subunit. Binds one copper ion. Binding of one copper ion does not interfere with calcium binding. Required for the copper-dependent stress-induced export of IL1A and FGF1. The calcium-free protein binds to lipid vesicles containing phosphatidylserine, but not to vesicles containing phosphatidylcholine (By similarity).

Supplier: AVANTOR PERFORMANCE MATERIAL LLC
Description: The USP/NF Offical Compendia of Standards contains a section titled, "Reagents, Indicators, and Solutions" that lists the quality requirements of chemicals to be used in compendia testing. PharmaTest reagents are tested according to these requirements, relieving you of the need to do additional testing on your reagents. Products may be reagent or other grade, but are labeled as "Meets reagent specifications for testing USP/NF monographs." Test solutions are labeled as PharmaTest.

Catalog Number: (10347-712)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: This gene encodes an alpha-1 subunit of a voltage-dependent calcium channel. Calcium channels mediate the influx of calcium ions into the cell upon membrane polarization. The alpha-1 subunit consists of 24 transmembrane segments and forms the pore through which ions pass into the cell. The calcium channel consists of a complex of alpha-1, alpha-2/delta, beta, and gamma subunits in a 1:1:1:1 ratio. There are multiple isoforms of each of these proteins, either encoded by different genes or the result of alternative splicing of transcripts. The protein encoded by this gene binds to and is inhibited by dihydropyridine. Alternative splicing results in many transcript variants encoding different proteins. [provided by RefSeq]

Supplier: VWR
Description: Calcium chelator used to eliminate inhibition of enzyme catalyzed reactions due to traces of heavy metals.
Catalog Number: (77536-848)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Bovine S100 Calcium Binding Protein A8 (S100A8) ELISA Kit

New Product

Catalog Number: (10452-176)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Forms a voltage-independent potassium channel that is activated by intracellular calcium. Activation is followed by membrane hyperpolarization which promotes calcium influx. Required for maximal calcium influx and proliferation during the reactivation of naive T-cells. The channel is blocked by clotrimazole and charybdotoxin but is insensitive to apamin.
