Description: Stk38,also known as NUCLEAR DBF2-RELATED PROTEIN, contains 1 protein kinase domain that interacts with mob1 and mob2.The homodimeric s100b binds to two molecules of stk38. It is ubiquitously expressed with highest levels observed in peripheral blood leukocytes. Stk38 activated by binding of s100b which releases autoinhibitory n-lobe interactions, enabling atp to bind and the autophosphorylation of ser-281. thr-444 then undergoes calcium- dependent phosphorylation by an upstream kinase. Interactions between phosphorylated thr-444 and the n-lobe promote additional structural changes that complete the activation of the kinase. Autoinhibition is also released by the binding of mob1/mobkl1a and mob2/hcca2 to the n-terminal of stk38.

Description: Oxidative-stress responsive 1(OXSR1) is also named as KIAA1101, OSR1 and belongs to the STE Ser/Thr protein kinase family. It contains an N-terminal Ste20-like ser/thr kinase domain and 2 C-terminal regions, which has a putative caspase-3 cleavage site at the end. OXSR1's interaction with WNK1 is required for NKCC function, and it modulates the G protein sensitivity of PAK by phosphorylation of PAK1.Western blot analysis detected Oxsr1 at an apparent molecular mass of 58 kD in all mouse tissues examined except thymus. Cell fractionation and immunofluorescence analysis of HeLa cells showed that OXSR1 was distributed throughout the cell and OXSR1 could phosphorylate a test substrate and itself.

Description: The fluorogenic substrate pERTKR-AMC is efficiently cleaved by furin, a mammalian homolog of the yeast Kex2 endoprotease (kcat/Km approx. 2·10⁴ M-¹s-¹). As a calcium-dependent serine protease associated with Golgi membranes, furin is responsible for the secretory processing of precursor proteins at paired basic residues. Also cleaved by proprotein convertase 4. IpERTKR-AMC is an excellent substrate for flavivirin.

Supplier: Anaspec Inc
Description: This peptide is histone H3 amino acid residues 1 to 21. It is phosphorylated at Thr-11 with a C-terminal GG linker, followed by a biotinylated lysine. The modification of Thr-11 via phosphorylation is processed by a number of enzymes, including protein kinase C-related kinase 1 (PRK1) and Serine/threonine-protein kinase Chk1. This has many important functions, such as the establishment of a novel chromatin marker for transcriptional regulation, and the regulation of DNA-damage induced transcriptional repression. Provided at >95% peptide purity, this peptide was dissolved in distilled water at 1 mg/ml and re-lyophilized to powder form.
