Catalog Number: (10424-204)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Cadherins are calcium-dependent cell adhesion proteins. They preferentially interact with themselves in a homophilic manner in connecting cells; cadherins may thus contribute to the sorting of heterogeneous cell types.

Catalog Number: (10369-044)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Syk (72 kDa) is a non receptor protein tyrosine kinase that plays an important role in immune receptor signal transduction and is implicated in endothelial cell functions, including cell growth and migration. SYK is a positive effector of BCR stimulated responses. It couples the B cell antigen receptor (BCR) to the mobilization of calcium ions either through a phosphoinositide 3 kinase dependent pathway, when not phosphorylated on tyrosines of the linker region, or through a phospholipase C gamma dependent pathway, when phosphorylated on Tyr 342 and Tyr 346. Thus the differential phosphorylation of SYK can determine the pathway by which BCR is coupled to the regulation of intracellular calcium ions. Alternate Names: p72syk; Spleen tyrosine kinase; Tyrosine protein kinase SYK.

Catalog Number: (10341-576)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Chemotactic for B-lymphocytes but not for T-lymphocytes, monocytes and neutrophils. Does not induce calcium release in B-lymphocytes. Binds to BLR1/CXCR5.

Catalog Number: (10401-612)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Receptor for ATP and UTP coupled to G-proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. The affinity range is UTP = ATP >ATP-gamma-S >2-methylthio-ATP = ADP.

Catalog Number: (10452-608)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Specific inhibition of calpain (calcium-dependent cysteine protease). Plays a key role in postmortem tenderization of meat and have been proposed to be involved in muscle protein degradation in living tissue.

Supplier: Thermo Scientific Chemicals
Description: A calcium indicator; derivative of Fura-2 used to load the chelator into cells

Catalog Number: (10081-986)
Supplier: Proteintech
Description: CAMK2B(Calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase type II subunit beta ), also named as CAM2, CAMK2 and CAMKB, belongs to the protein kinase superfamily, CAMK Ser/Thr protein kinase family and CaMK subfamily. It is a prominent kinase in the central nervous system that may function in long-term potentiation and neurotransmitter release. CAMK2B is a member of the NMDAR signaling complex in excitatory synapses, it may regulate NMDAR-dependent potentiation of the AMPAR and synaptic plasticity. It plays a distinct role in the induction of anergy in T lymphocytes, by differential regulation of IL10 and IL2 gene transcription suggesting MEF2A as a molecular target which can integrate different Calcium signals. This protein has 8 isoforms produced by alternative splicing with the molecular weight between 50 kDa and 73 kDa.

Catalog Number: (10781-922)
Supplier: Biosensis
Description: C-reactive protein has several roles associated with host defence such as; promoting agglutination, bacterial capsular swelling, phagocytosis and complement fixation through its calcium-dependent binding to phosphorylcholine. It can interact with DNA and histones and may scavenge nuclear material released from damaged circulating cells. COFACTOR: Binds 2 calcium ions per subunit. C-reactive protein exists as a homopentamer. There are 2 alternatively spliced isoforms. C-reactive protein is found in plasma and its concentration increases greatly during acute phase response to tissue injury, infection or other inflammatory stimuli. It is induced by IL-1 and IL-6.

Catalog Number: (77437-238)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: This is a receptor for the tachykinin neuropeptide neuromedin-K (neurokinin B). It is associated with G proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. The rank order of affinity of this receptor to tachykinins is: neuromedin-K > substance K > substance P.

Catalog Number: (77436-870)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Has neurotrophic and neuroprotective properties on a broad spectrum of central nervous system (CNS) neurons. Binds, in a calcium-dependent manner, to cultured neocortical neurons and promotes cell survival.

Catalog Number: (10344-034)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Nuclear factor of activated T cells (NFAT) is a family of transcription factors implicated in multiple biological processes including cytokine gene expression, cardiac hypertrophy and adipocyte differentiation. NFAT1 (also known as NFATc2 or NFATp) is a member of this family that is regulated by the calcium-dependent phosphatase calcineurin. When calcineurin is activated by calcium it dephosphorylates multiple residues in the regulatory domain of NFAT1, leading to its translocation to the nucleus and activation of its transcriptional activity. Once in the nucleus, NFAT proteins act synergistically with the AP-1 transcription factor complex to regulate the expression of multiple genes. Serine 54 in mouse NFAT1 has been shown to be important in the regulation of its transcriptional activity.
