Description: The transmembrane glycoprotein Tumor endothelial marker 1 (TEM1) is highly expressed in tumor endothelial cells however it is barely detectable on normal endothelial cells. It is believed to play a role in tumor angiogenesis. It is expressed in stromal fibroblasts, metastatic hepatic lesions and during angiogenesis of corpus luteum formation and wound healing. TEM1 is being investigated as a potential target for cancer treatment.

Description: This gene is a member of a group of genes whose transcript levels are increased following stressful growth arrest conditions and treatment with DNA-damaging agents. The protein encoded by this gene responds to environmental stresses by mediating activation of the p38/JNK pathway via MTK1/MEKK4 kinase. The GADD45G is highly expressed in placenta.

Supplier: Prosci
Description: Interleukin-10 (IL-10) is a cytokine produced by activated Th2 cells, B cells, keratinocytes and monocytes/macrophages. In vitro murine and human IL-10 inhibits cytokine synthesis by Th1 cells, natural killer cells and monocytes/macrophages. Several studies have suggested the potential application of IL-10 as an anti-inflammatory agent in the treatment of septic shock and as an immunosuppressive agent in certain T cell mediated autoimmune diseases.

Catalog Number: (10764-222)
Supplier: Prosci
Description: The G4.18 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with rat CD3, a T cell lineage marker and associated with the T cell receptor (TCR). CD3 is involved in antigen recognition, cell activation, and signal transduction and is found on subsets of NK-T, peripheral T, dendritic epidermal T, and thymocyte cells. Immobilized G4.18 antibody activates T cells in vitro and in vivo treatments of the G4.18 antibody prevents cardiac and skin allograft rejection.

Catalog Number: (10750-812)
Supplier: Prosci
Description: ESX1 Antibody: Homeobox proteins are transcription factors that contain a helix-turn-helix DNA binding domain termed the homeodomain. ESX1 is an X-linked homeobox gene primarily expressed in the placenta and testis and contains two functional domains: the homeodomain and the proline-rich domain. During embryogenesis, ESX1 is expressed in the extraembryonic tissues, including the endoderm of the visceral yolk sac, the ectoderm of the chorion and the labyrinthine trophoblast of the chorioallantoic placenta. ESX1 can act like a transcriptional repressor to the human oncogene K-ras and treatment of human cancer cells with an ESX1 protein fragment containing the homeodomain reduces the tumorgenicity of cells containing oncogenic K-ras mutations, suggesting ESX1 may be useful as a therapeutic treatment for these cancers.

Supplier: Thermo Scientific Chemicals
Description: Photochemical crosslinker of DNA. Useful for treatment of psoriasis
Catalog Number: (77007-512)
Supplier: Genscript
Description: Omalizumab with trade name Xolair, is an FDA-approved drug for the treatment of moderate to severe persistent asthma in adults and adolescents (12 years of age and above). It is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody. It selectively binds to human immunoglobulin E (IgE). Omalizumab inhibits the binding of IgE to the high-affinity IgE receptor (FcεRI) on the surface of mast cells and basophils. Anti-Omalizumab antibody (15B12), mAb, mouse is produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of partner and B-lymphocytes obtained from a mouse immunized with omalizumab.

Supplier: Prosci
Description: CLEC2A Antibody: CLEC2A (C-type lectin domain family 2 member A), also known as PILAR (proliferation-induced lymphocyte-associated receptor) is involved in modulating T-cell expansion. It is a 32 kDa single-pass type II membrane protein that contains one C-type lectin domain in its extracellular region and belongs to the CTL/CTLD superfamily. CLEC2A is mainly expressed in skin and highly expressed in CD8(+), B lymphocytes and naive CD4(+) T cells. Manipulation of CLEC2A signaling may be important for treatment of autoimmune diseases and cancer.

Supplier: Prosci
Description: Mcl-1 (Myeloid cell leukemia-1) is Bcl-2-related and was identified as an early-induction gene that increased in expression during the differentiation of human myeloblastic leukemia cell ML-1, or exposure to different DNA damaging agents. The level of Mcl-1 is decreased in peripheral B lymphocytes undergoing apoptosis following treatment with apoptotic stimuli such as TGF-alpha 1 and forskolin. Expression of Mcl-1 is able to delay apoptosis induced by over-expression of c-myc in CHO 5AHSmyc cells. In hematopoietic FDC-P1 cells, Mcl-1 interacts with another Bcl-2-related protein, Bax, and prolongs cell viability after treatment with different apoptotic reagents. This monoclonal antibody detected a 37kd MCL1 in BCBL-1 cell lysate.

Catalog Number: (77007-492)
Supplier: Genscript
Description: Panitumumab with trade name Vectibix, is an FDA-approved drug for the treatment of patients with EGFR-expressing metastatic colorectal carcinoma with non-mutated (wild-type) KRAS after failure of fluoropyrimidine-, oxaliplatin- and irinotecan-containing chemotherapy regimens. It is a human monoclonal antibody. Panitumumab binds to the human EGF receptor (EGFR), preventing binding of activating ligands, such as the EGF and transforming growth factor alpha. Anti-Panitumumab antibody (9G12), mAb, Mouse is produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of partner and B-lymphocytes obtained from a mouse immunized with panitumumab.

Supplier: Prosci
Description: ACRP30 was identified as a novel adipocyte-specific synthesized and secreted protein with structural resemblance to complement factor C1q. Like adipsin, ACRP30 secretion is induced ~10-fold during adipocyte differentiation. Plasma levels are reduced in obese humans, and low levels are associated with insulin-resistance. Treatment of db/db mice with TZD increased ACRP30 levels.

It is used for medical purposes as a component of Whitfield's ointment, a treatment of fungal skin diseases, and can be used as a topical antiseptic. Spectrum Chemical USP products are manufactured, packaged and stored under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) per 21CFR part 211 in FDA registered and inspected facilities.

Supplier: Bachem Americas
Description: The Cu²⁺ complex of this soluble amyloid β-protein fragment showed significant oxidative activities toward the catechol-like substrate 1,2,3-trihydroxylbenzene (pyrogallol) and plasmid DNA cleavage. The N-terminal Aβ fragments Aβ1-14 (H-7372), Aβ1-15 (H-6368), and Aβ1-16 are elevated in cell media and in CSF in response to γ-secretase inhibitor treatment. The fragments can serve as biomarkers in clinical studies of the effect of such inhibitors.

Description: ZC3H12D Antibody: ZC3H12D, also known as MCPIP4, is a member of a family of novel CCCH-zinc finger proteins that includes ZC3H12A, a protein that is thought to be involved in macrophage activation, host immunity and inflammatory diseases. ZC3H12D is highly expressed in spleen, intestine, and colon. Similar to ZC3H12A and ZC3H12C, ZC3H12D expression in murine macrophages is also increased after treatment with lipopolysaccharide (LPS), although not to the same level as ZC3H12A. This pattern of expression was not duplicated in human-derived macrophages, suggesting it also may play a different role in host immunity and inflammatory response.
