Chromatography Columns

The Welch ghost-buster column eliminates ghost peaks in chromatographic separation by removing low-polarity impurities from the mobile phase, mixer, and pipelines. Installed between the gradient mixer and injector, it adsorbs weak-polar and non-polar organic contaminants without altering the mobile phase composition. Unlike in-line filters, it targets organic pollutants rather than just solid particles. This improves separation clarity, prevents interference, and extends the lifespan of both the column and the system, making it ideal for long-term, high-precision operations.

Welch ghost-buster columns can effectively remove impurities with low polarity and thus prevent the interference from all kinds of ghost peaks.
