The Cool Stir® Large Volume Magnetic Stirrer efficiently stirs fluid volumes from 10L up to 208L (2.5 to 55 gallons).

A direct drive motor rotates a powerful rare earth magnet that couples optimally with 7.6–15.2 cm (3–6") stirring bars (not included)

Stirring speed is continuously changeable to approximately 600rpm (maximum operational rpm depends on volume and density), delivering torque for mixing through powerful agitation with a deep vortex. The unit and its 100 watt (⅛ horsepower) motor are air cooled, and heat transmission to thermolabile solutions is prevented by the use of insulation. Polypropylene sides are simple to clean.

A rugged built-in aluminum support system and durable polypropylene platform are engineered to carry up to 220kg (485 lbs.), permitting mixing in a regular plastic barrel or drum.
