NanoTight™ Fittings and Sleeves are designed to connect 70 µm - 1 mm OD capillary tubing to any standard 10-32 coned port normally intended for 1/16 in OD tubing

NanoTight Fittings can be used to connect any 1/16" OD tubing -- the ETFE ferrule material used in the NanoTight product line is softer than PEEK™ materials making these fittings a good candidate for connecting thin-walled semi-rigid tubing such as FEP and ETFE into 10-32 ports with minimal constricting the inner diameter. NanoTight™ Tubing Sleeves connect capillary tubing into most typical 10-32 coned receiving ports, withhold pressures 4,000 psi (275 bar), and are manufactured using FEP fluoropolymer – a highly inert, melt-processed polymer that serves as an excellent alternative to PTFE. A wide assortment of sleeves is available, ensuring the availability of a NanoTight sleeve for most applications. Many of the sleeves feature a light color tint that can help more easily identify the inner diameter for future orders. Maximum recommended continuous operating temperature of 50 °C. MicroTight™ Tubing Sleeves facilitate capillary tubing connections with our MicroTight accessories. Sleeves feature an outer diameter of .025" and are available in variety of inner diameters for a broad-range compatibility with a wide assortment of capillary tubing sizes. Manufactured from PEEK polymer, these sleeves carry an upper temperature threshold of 125 °C. For proper sleeve use, choose a sleeve with an inner diameter .001"-.002" (25-50 µm) larger than the outer diameter of your capillary tubing. Then slip the sleeve over the flow path tubing, such that the tubing extends all the way through the sleeve, but not beyond the end of the sleeve. Choose the correct fitting that corresponds with your receiving port, slide it over the sleeved flow path tubing and connect as normal.

PEEK™ Tubing Sleeves with a 1/16 in OD are designed to be used with stainless steel fittings and can adapt capillary tubing to traditional 10-32 coned receiving ports designed for 1/16 in OD tubing. These sleeves require a wrench-tightened nut to achieve proper sealing and maximum pressure holding ability (~6,000 psi / 414 bar @ Room Temperature). They can be used in applications where the temperature reaches up to 125 ºC.

The FEP sleeves are 1.6" long and facilitate connecting capillary tubing into ports designed for 1/32" OD tubing. These sleeves can be used at up to 50 °C and have a 1,750 psi (121 bar) pressure rating. The PEEK™ Polymer Tubing Sleeves are 1.6" long and facilitate connecting capillary tubing into ports designed for 1/32" OD tubing. These sleeves can be used at up to 100 °C and have a 5,000 psi (121 bar) pressure rating.
