Chromatography Columns

This column is a modified version of a simple absorption column for rapid preparative separations.

Bushing replaces a joint clamp

Column is available with or without a Porosity B (70 to 100 µm) fritted disc sealed in
Fabricated from borosilicate glass

This version incorporates a #25 Ace-Thred connector in place of the [SJ] 35/20 joints, for grease-free connection. The internally threaded connector and nylon bushing make a pressure-tight, O-ring compression seal with the glass stem on the reservoir and flow adapter. A glass bead helps the o-ring form a more positive seal against the bushing to help prevent back-out.

Ordering information: Column, reservoir, flow control adapter and 89059-226 nylon bushing with O-Ring must be ordered separately. For custom columns, contact your Avantor representative.

Caution: For chromatography use only. Not intended for use with 40 µm or smaller packing, as this will cause operating pressures to exceed safe limits of the glass.
