Chromatography Columns

This column is a combination of the high performance, low pressure (HP/LPLC) Michel-Miller chromatography line and the Adjusta-Chrom recycling column.

The bottom of the column is a standard #11 Ace-Thred Michel-Miller fitting for use with 89052-496 end fitting, and uses a 89052-168 filter disc. Fabricated from borosilicate glass.

Note that the 10 mm int.Ø columns are the same diameter top to bottom. The 89052-496 end fitting has a ¹/₄"-20 UNF tap for connecting small bore tubing. Top fitting has a connection for 2 mm int.Ø PTFE tubing.

Top has adjustable fittings that allows for a bed height anywhere within 1 to 6 inches below thread; i.e., if packing tends to expand or contract due to changing conditions, the top fitting can be moved by loosening the bushing and sliding the plunger tip up or down. The plunger tip is all PTFE with a Porosity C (25 to 50 µm) glass disc.
