Academia: For teachers and students of spectroscopy in academia, Spectrum Two helps develop an understanding of IR sampling techniques and spectral analysis. The special educational resource pack facilitates teaching of traditional synthetic chemistry analysis as well as more modern applications, such as recycling.

Compact and robust, Spectrum Two is ideal for use in academic laboratories. Thanks to a unique power management system and OpticsGuard™ Spectrum Two can be switched in and out of standby without risk to sensitive optical components, significantly reducing power consumption and long term cost of ownership. Wireless operation and multi-user site licenses are also available for enhanced data system security in teaching environments.

Spectrum 10 and 10ES Software is fully validated and includes full instrument set-up and control functions, basic and advanced data manipulation routines, spectral arithmetic calculations with custom Equations Editor, COMPARE spectral comparison feature, PLS/PCR/Beer's Law predictions feature, Beer's Law Quant method development, Spectrum 10 easy macro writer, data tune-up, spectral searching, starter libraries, configurable reporting and data exporting, built-in tutorials and online help, laboratory scheduler feature, and Scanalyze for real-time results while scanning. Spectrum 10ES Software is 21 CFR Part 11 compliant, which encompasses access control, audit trailing, data security, and data integrity. It also includes report builders, report viewers, and administration utility.

Spectrometers and Application Packs can also be purchased individually.

Ordering information: Spectrum Two FTIR Analysis Systems include the Spectrum Two instrument, Spectrum 10 or 10ES software and the appropriate application pack. Instruments are supplied with mains cable, Ethernet and USB cables, electronic user's guide and maintenance guide on CD, certificate of conformity, and fuses. Each instrument includes a one-year manufacturer warranty and customer installation guide. Additional on-site warranties and installation are optional. Instrument purchases require the separate purchase of a power cord, suitable for 100-240V, 50/60 Hz operation.
