Fiberglass blowers are recommended for fume hood exhaust systems in moderate to highly corrosive conditions

Coated steel blowers are recommended for low to moderately corrosive applications and have a phenolic coating on impeller and housing.

Both blowers have a dry powder epoxy-coated base and weather cover for protection in extreme weather. Sheaves are adjustable to allow for air volume adjustment. Belt driven models use a self-adjusting gravity belt tightener that ensures consistent performance because belt is held taut by weight of motor.

The housing is made from molded fiberglass-reinforced polyester for durability and long life. Impellers are made of injection-molded polypropylene to resist corrosive atmospheres.

Spectrum Blowers do not use belts, therefore use less energy and are suitable for all applications.
