Analog orbital shakers are designed for a wide variety of applications including bacterial suspensions, staining/destaining, general mixing, and cell culture procedures requiring accurate and reproducible results.
- 22.7 kg (50 lbs.) capacity
- Microprocessor controls
- Continuous or timed operation
- Now with best-in-class, exclusive 5-year warranty
These units deliver reproducible motion that is evenly distributed throughout the platform surface.
Shakers can accommodate a variety of stainless steel platform options. Stainless steel tier braces allow stacking of same size platforms and provide a 25.4 cm (10") clearance between platforms. Universal platforms are suitable for mounting flask clamps and test tube racks. The adjustable platform attachment has four adjustable cushioned rollers to hold glassware securely. The culture platform with mat is ideal for slow speed applications that utilize low profile vessels such as Petri dishes or culture flasks. Test tube racks are constructed of steel with a PVC coating. Pivoting test tube racks are made from polypropylene in a stainless steel holder.
Shakers are equipped with a variable speed microprocessor control that provides consistent and uniform mixing action. The powerful triple eccentric drive and brushless motor offer reliable service in continuous duty and can handle loads up to 22.7 kg (50 lbs.). The analog timer and speed control are activated through basic speed and time dials. Safety features include a ramping feature that slowly increases speeds to desired setpoint to avoid splashing, and a spill-resistant design that channels fluids away from internal components. Shakers can be run in cold rooms, incubators, and CO₂ environments from 0 to 40 °C (32 to 104 °F).
Certifications: RoHS certified. 120V units are TUV listed. 230V units are CE marked.
