Heavy-wall, borosilicate glass tubes are ideal for polymerization and analysis of halogens by thermal decomposition in the presence of lime

Available in a variety of lengths with #15 Ace-Threds. Tubes are pressure rated to 150psi at 120°C (320°F).

The unique Ace-Thred design allows for easy closing with supplied plug and O-ring. Closures are reusable. Tubes are equipped with bushing and plunger valve for purging. The glass plunger valve supplied with these tubes features a 5mm I.D. thermowell for a thermocouple wire or sheathed probe up to 3.2mm (¹/₈") O.D. The closed-bottom plunger has a hole in the side that will open the tube to atmospheric conditions when properly positioned in relation to the O-ring seal. The plunger features a step-down extension that functions as a stop in bushing.

Ordering information: Complete tubes consist of tube with #15 Ace-Thred, PTFE bushing with FETFE O-Ring, and plunger valve with thermowell. All replacement plunger valves are sold separately.
