Model 1000 features a small vibration orbit of 1.5 mm (¹/₁₆") to prevent contamination even with full wells. Model 1000 accommodates up to six microtiterplates.
Shakers are designed for continuous use and feature a sparkless, maintenance-free motor. Units feature timed or continuous operation modes. Process timer allows for unattended operation for up to 120 minutes and sends an acoustic signal upon completion. Enclosed housing ensures virtually no heat transfer from motor to platform, and the unit will self-reset to protect against overheating. Units also have analog dial control of vibration frequency.
Certifications: Model 1000 meets the standards of protection class IP 40 (DIN 40050).
Accessories information: The optional Titramax package (sold separately) provides a system with reproducible temperature control. The Titramax package combines the model 1000 vibrating shaker with an incubator for complete shaking, mixing, and heating applications. Also included is a low, flat incubator hood with a total height of 163 mm (6⁷/₁₆"). Hoods are manufactured from transparent, non-fogging PETG material for easy viewing. Package is available in 115 V electrical capacity; contact your VWR representative for more information.
