Halsey Needle Holders

Dissecting and Inoculating Loop and Needle Holders

Halsey needle holders are used to hold and manipulate surgical needles during procedures. Halsey needle holders have a scissor-like jaw design with a flat, blunt tip. The tips are serrated for a firm grasp. They have a locking mechanism to secure the jaws as they grasp the needle firmly.

While Halsey needle holders are available in sizes from 4 to 7", these are 5.5" long. Choose the size of your needle holders (also called needle drivers) based on the size of your needles.

These have tungsten carbide insets in the tips, which make these needle drivers more durable. They are manufactured from surgical grade stainless steel or premium German steel, both of which are autoclavable or suitable for chemical sterilants. Promptly clean all your surgical instruments to ensure a long life of the tools.
