Peripheral blood cells are collected from healthy donors by direct collection or by using the Spectra Optia® Apheresis system. Cell-rich leukapheresis product is extracted using continuous flow centrifugal technology directly into the collection bag.
Purification, isolation, and cryopreservation of cells are performed on-site immediately following collection utilizing best-in-class instruments, biopreservation media, and standardized protocols. The rigorous operational controls mitigate any potential loss while ensuring viable and functional cells post-thaw, guaranteeing that customers receive consistent high-quality cells.
T Cells: Isolated human T cell subsets include CD3+ pan, CD4+ helper, and CD8+ cytotoxic T cells, in addition to gamma-delta, regulatory T cells (Tregs), and natural killer T cells (NKT cells). Also provided are antigen-specific T cells (ASTCs) for immune response studies and development of immunomodulatory therapeutics. All T cell products are either immediately cryopreserved or cultured after isolation to maintain high cell viability. Human T cells are isolated from fresh leukopaks by positive or negative selection using immunomagnetic cell separation procedures. Flow cytometry analysis is used to validate purity and viability.
