DynaBloc Heating Blocks, Cylindrical, Ace Glass
Block Heaters Blocks
These anodized aluminum blocks are ideal for heating and mixing solutions in a variety of vials, tubes, and flasks for applications such as digestion, extraction, distillation, and synthesis

Universal base plate is required for operating all DynaBloc cylindrical heating blocks and fits a standard, circular, 135mm diameter stirrer/hotplate top. Blocks can be separated from the base for easy cleaning and handling. The base has a hole in the side to accommodate a standard thermocouple sensor for heat measurement. Base plate dimensions: 135I.D.x164O.D.mm (55/16x67/16"). Blocks for vials and tubes have pre-drilled openings for standard-size glass vials and tubes, including small dram vials, chromatography vials, scintillation vials, EPA vials, VOC vials, and standard test tubes.

Blocks for flasks are machined to accommodate small round-bottom flasks and small Erlenmeyer flasks and include one hole to accommodate the extension rods and T-handle extractor. Clamp devices are necessary to stabilize glassware while in blocks.

Segmented blocks feature three sections with different sized holes per section. Choose different sized vials, tubes, or a flask to run simultaneously.

Accessories include clamp devices, a short support rod is for supporting flasks in the flask blocks, and a long support rod for condensers and other taller glass apparatus. T-handle extractor allows easy removal of the block even when hot.

System is easy to set up, allows switching from vials to flasks in seconds, and is easy to disassemble for cleaning. The configuration of the vial/flask holes provides optimum heating and mixing in every well. All blocks have a pre-drilled hole to accommodate a sensor probe and another hole for the T-handle extractor.

Ordering information: Base plates are required for all blocks. Clamp devices are required to stabilize flasks and condensers while in blocks. Support rods may be also be necessary for flasks, condensers, and other taller glass apparatus. Base plate, block, and accessories must be ordered separately. Instatherm blocks are for use in 89075-328 Instatherm bath (1.2 L).
