These nonsterile polystyrene plates feature white or black upper structures with optically clear bottoms

The lids for optical bottom plates feature cut-off corners at right top and bottom.

The plates can be read from the top or bottom. The white plates are ideal for fluorescence or luminescence applications; the black plates are ideal for fluorescence applications. The polystyrene upper structure is fitted with a polystyrene film. The 96-well footprint makes the plates compatible with automated handling equipment. Plates are optimized for scintillation counting and feature alphanumeric well identification. The low-fluorescence background ensures accurate results due to higher signal-to-noise ratios.
