Parallel vortex evaporators allow users to optimize existing process workflows by accommodating a wide array of common glassware and varied sample types, which eliminates the inconvenience of sample transfer steps
Twelve transparent cylinders act as individual heating baths, providing a 12x30mL working volume and ensuring optimal heat transfer. Samples remain visible throughout the entire process. Temperature and orbital movement settings are adjustable by dial, with setpoint and actual temperature on constant display. When used in combination with V-700/801 vacuum controllers the entire distillation process is performed automatically. The combined use of a sample preparation rack, transfer rack, and evaporation rack allows users to prepare samples in advance, minimize exposure to the heating medium, and ensure that all samples are equally conditioned.
To accommodate a variety of sample vessels, specific adapters of varying shape, length, and diameter are available. All adapters of the same format can be arranged arbitrarily in the transfer rack. To prevent cross-contamination, each sample is independently connected to a PETP vacuum cover which transfers processed vapors along grooved channels. Vapor transferred through the vacuum hose is condensed in either a cold trap, coiled condenser, or the condenser assembly of the Rotavapor. P+G coating and the use of optional safety shields offer effective protection in the event of glassware breakage. Evaporation under vacuum is in compliance with ISO 14000 certification.
CE marked. CSA certified.
The compact, 12-position Multivapor™ evaporators may be utilized as comprehensive and independent evaporation systems, or in conjunction with Rotavapor® rotary evaporators to increase workplace flexibility while saving time and resources. Extraction, chromatography, or reaction samples can be processed by an interchangeable system of specific sealing adapters.
