Columns are based on a wide pore material designed for optimal large molecule separations. As a result, the highly base-deactivated wide pore Viva columns exhibit excellent peak shape for a wide range of compounds. The high proportion of pore/surface area available to large molecules make them an ideal general-purpose column for analyzing large molecules and biomolecules. Columns are also well suited for separating peptides or proteins.
