VACUUBRAND® Dry Chemistry Diaphragm Pumps, BrandTech
Pumps Vacuum Pumps
Powerful and popular oil-free diaphragm vacuum pumps are suitable for a wide variety of laboratory applications such as rotary evaporation, centrifugal concentration, gel drying, vacuum filtration, solid phase extraction, and degassing procedures

  • Whisper-quiet
  • Typical service intervals >15,000 operating hours
  • High flow rates at working vacuum
  • Models with solvent recovery glassware

Select ME series pumps for fluid movement applications such as filtration, solid phase extraction, mobile phase preparation, aspiration, or degassing. Select MZ series pumps for evaporation of more volatile solvents or heated evaporative applications. Select MD series pumps for more difficult applications such as room temperature evaporation of DMF.

Pumps feature flowpaths constructed of materials with excellent corrosion resistance, such as PTFE heads and diaphragms. A gas ballast provides consistent pump performance with condensed vapors. The MD4C NT +AK + EK and MZ2C NT + 2AK models are also equipped with solvent recovery accessories. The MZ2C + 2AK includes an inlet catchpot to preserve pump performance and an outlet catchpot to collect condensate. The MD4C + AK + EK adds an outlet condenser to collect more volatile solvents. All catchpots and condensers are made of borosilicate glass. Catchpots are coated for safety.

Pumps are engineered for high-performance use, with flowrates as much as 40% higher than competitive models at working vacuum level. These redesigned and compact models are significantly quieter, with less vibration than previous models. The oil-free design eliminates the misting, handling, and disposal of contaminated oil associated with rotary vane pumps. Service intervals are typically required at 10,000 to 15,000 hours. All pumps are equipped with a 10mm (3/8") hose barb inlet connector. Many applications do not require a cold trap to protect the pump.

Ordering information: Pumps are supplied with one phase motor, on/off switch, cable with plug, operating manual, and manufacturer's one-year warranty. The 230V models are supplied with a European-style plug.
