Small bench-mounted units with unrestricted access are ideal for procedures that are difficult to perform in a fume hood or cabinet. The downdraft action takes the contaminated air away from the operator. An audible alarm sounds when the airflow falls to an unacceptable level. Clean air recirculates into the room, eliminating ducting and installation costs.
