solarus® Digital Bottle-Top Burets, Hirschmann
Burettes
Ideal for manual titrations in analytical labs, water and wastewater plants, and QA processes.

Integrated solar panels power the electronic components and the display, eliminating the need for charging or changing batteries

Exchangeable valves and simple user-specific Quick-Cal calibration make individual adaptations possible. However, the system also has a permanent default setting at 20°C (68°F) with water. A serial reagent recirculation system ensures quick, simple priming and prevents the waste of reagents. A button on the display will switch from the default calibration to the user-specific calibration and back at any time. Unit features a strong, stable discharge tube with cap, a Luer-lock connection for a filter or dry tube, and 360° rotation so that labels or lettering on the bottle always face the user.

Unit case is made of polyamide (nylon) 6, and all parts in touch with fluids, including discharge unit, are chemically resistant and autoclavable to 121°C (250°F). Plunger is made of two fluoropolymer resin compounds: ECTFE (ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene) and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). Cylinder is made of calibrated DURAN® (borosilicate 3.3) glass and is, like the valves, predominantly inert and wear-free. Ball and seat are made of borosilicate glass. Valve springs are made of Hastelloy® material. Valve block and housing are made of ECTFE copolymer. Suction and dispensing tubes are made of FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene).

RS-232 port allows for computer interface. Large LCD panel is always clearly readable, regardless of the angle of view. Arrows indicate the turning direction (fill or titrate), and the keypad is easy to operate. All these factors ensure correct volumes and error-free meniscus readings, even for very sensitive titrations. Hand wheels, equipped with a soft-touch surface that guarantees maximum grip, and smoothly operating gear provide sensitive titration adjustment. Burets are not for use with hydrofluoric acid.

Certifications: CE marked.

Ordering information: Units include a 45mm bottle thread, three thread adapters (A32, A38, and S40), a wrench to connect/disconnect the valves, suction tube, recirculation tube, and an individual quality control certificate that documents the serial number and five test values, and confirms the conformity according to weights and measures regulations.
