Flasks Culture Flasks

Fernbach-style culture flasks are ideal for culturing organisms that require a large surface area-to-volume ratio, and in serum production

Baffled bottom flasks have three baffles at center on outside for maximal oxygen transfer to culture medium. Flasks that accept rubber stopper (not included) have heavily beaded rim to protect against chipping; also accept cotton plugs. Light blue phenolic screw caps are autoclavable and PTFE-lined. Orange plug seal cap is autoclavable and linerless, with drip-free pouring ring.

These culture flask are made of Pyrex® borosilicate glass.

Large marking spot allows for accurate labeling and easy identification.

Caution: Do not use this flask on a heat source smaller than the base of the flask. Uneven heating of the flask could cause breakage.
