Easily measure tree height or a rockets maximum height.
- Easy squeeze trigger
- Maximum angle of 70˚
- Can be used to calculate height above or below the horizon
- Includes activity guide
Easily determine the height of an object by using angles. This clinometer has a spring-loaded trigger that holds a pivoting arm stationary to indicate the angle above or below the horizon. The maximum angle above or below the horizon is 70˚. This can be used for measuring the height of trees, buildings or even the maximum altitude of a rocket. In order to determine the maximum height of your target above the horizon, measure the horizontal distance to the base of the object and use the tangent of the angle to determine the maximum height.
