The ECHO Confocal redefines the traditional complicated confocal experience to make high resolution imaging easier.

  • Confocal: block out-of-focus light for higher resolution images
  • Live cell imaging: view and capture live samples with automated time-lapse microscopy
  • Multi-channel: capture and overlay multiple wavelengths in fluorescence
  • Multi-point: set multiple acquisition points to view and revisit over time
  • Image stitching: capture and stitch to form large FOV high resolution images
  • Z-stack: acquire and stack images at multiple focal planes
  • Auto focus: automatically find and track best Z-plane(s) for focus, hyperscan, high-speed image stitching
  • Confocal, transmitted light, phase contrast, darkfield, polarized light and fluorescence in inverted configruation
  • Laser lines 405, 488, 555, 635 nm

4.2 MP 95% QE monochrome camera - increased quantum efficiency for enhanced detection of fluorophores for confocal and fluorescence imaging. 5 MP Brightfield CMOS color camera. Emission filters - EM 460/50, EM 520/40, EM 590/50, EM 700/75.

Intelligent objective nosepiece - allows the software interface to automatically recognise the objective being used. Hyperscan Software (optional) - ultra fast scanning and mosaic image stitching at high-speed camera frame rates. Illumination technique: Confocal, Brightfield, Epi-fluorescence (phase contrast available as an option). Ability to toggle between confocal and widefield fluorescence illumination modes. Four independent laser lines (405, 488, 555, 635 nm) with 20000 hour lifespan. Intuitive software drives focus, image capture, and illumination, replacing manual turrets and levers.

Traditional eyepieces are replaced by a Dell UltraSharp 32" 4K Display for easier viewing. Custom software App installed on HP Z2 GD Mini PC to simplify the workflow of taking images and seamlessly integrates with other cloud sharing Apps. The inverted observation method is suitable for viewing live samples in fluidic chambers such as dishes and well plates. It also allows for easier manipulation of samples. Ideal for long working distance applications.

Accessories information: Stage top incubator (optional). Ensures optimal conditions for maintaining specimen viability.

Ordering information: To be completed with objectives and condensers, which are sold separately.
