Energy efficiency is highlighted by the Electronically Commutated Motor (ECM) for 1 horsepower models and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) for 2 horsepower models, both types consume less energy and are less expensive to maintain than traditional belt driven motors.

The PVC spectrum is recommended for laboratories that might use perchloric acid and would handle applications that require washdown and ducting.

The epoxy coated steel material is an economical option for laboratories using solvents or very mild acids.

The fiberglass spectrum is best for fume hood exhaust systems with corrosive conditions.
