Bacto Casamino Acids is an animal origin (AO) acid hydrolysis of casein. This supplement contains low salt and iron content making it an excellent supplement for media formulations where nitrogen requirements are minimal.

  • Supports the growth of Bordetella, Corynebacterium, Pseudomonas, Haemophilus, and Escherichia species
  • Successfully used in fermentation applications for Pneumococcal, Diptheria, Pertussis, Tetanus and Zoster vaccines
  • Together with Bacto Yeast Extract, technical, this supplement has been successfully used in the production of animal and human health vaccines
